When he opens his eyes again, it’s Sichuan before the conquest—warlords still circling, sects still scheming, the Demonic World Order not yet seated on its bloody throne. His fingers remember every joint and gear, every killing formation carved into steel. His name, however, is worth less than rust.

This time, Tang Sewoon does not step onto the battlefield first. He steps into the forge.

Hidden among back‑alley smithies and mountain workshops, he begins to seed the region with his work: a sword that sings too eagerly when drawn, armor that tightens when its wearer thinks of retreat, a simple farming hoe that drinks deeper than soil. Each piece is a quiet promise that Sichuan will not kneel as easily as it once did.

But every masterpiece leaves a scent: the sharp tang of quenched metal, the faint twist of demonic energy in the air. Old enemies start to look toward Sichuan. Old patrons do, too.

To overturn the future carved into his own corpse, Tang Sewoon must turn the province itself into a weapon—and accept that when the hammer falls for the last time, there may be nothing left of the man, only the overlord he forged.
