The Villain's Story

They call him the villain before they ever learn his name. By then, it’s already too late—because the body standing before them doesn’t belong to just one person.

Three souls share the same bones, the same heartbeat, the same set of bloody fingerprints on the palace floor.

The first remembers sunlight: a gentle child who once believed in heroes and kept a pressed flower hidden inside a history book. The second wakes with the taste of iron and ash on their tongue, shaped by every betrayal the world has to offer, the one who smiles during executions and never looks away. The third is the quiet shadow in between, the watcher, stitching together the gaps in memory, the only one who sees the others clearly and knows that all three are slowly coming apart.

Every time the body opens its eyes, a different soul takes the lead. A merciful hand stays the blade; an angry one finishes the kill. Orders are given, oaths are broken, allies become enemies, all while the court whispers about the monster in their midst, never realizing the monster argues with itself behind a composed face.

As the kingdom edges toward ruin and the legend of the "villain" grows sharper and more monstrous with every tale, those three souls are forced to make one impossible choice: which of them will survive when the body can no longer hold them all.

The world will remember only one story. The others will be buried inside the same skin that tried to hold them together.
