Tornado
Synopsis
Lightning splits the Georgia sky the night he’s born, sirens howling while a tornado claws its way through town. By the time he’s old enough to ride, chaos is the only thing that feels like home.
They call him Tornado now. Patch on his back, Silver Snakes MC at his side, engine noise in his ears loud enough to drown out old memories—like a girl with ink-stained fingers and a shy smile who once tucked herself against his chest as if the world was finally quiet.
Catherine Scott has learned how to disappear in plain sight. Wrong body in the right circles, she smooths her skirts and swallows her opinions while perfect girls in smaller dresses laugh past her. The one time she didn’t shrink herself, she gave her whole heart to the rough boy who looked at her like she was a miracle.
He left before dawn, boots on wood floors, door clicking shut so softly it hurt more than a slam.
Years later, when danger presses close enough that she can taste metal in the back of her throat, Catherine scrolls through every contact she has and finds only one name her thumb won’t move past.
Tornado.
One call drags him back into the life he swore he’d never touch again—and straight to the woman he’s never managed to forget. Old heat, old hurt, and a new threat twine together as they cross the line between her polished world and his outlaw family.
If they’re going to survive what’s coming, Catherine will have to stop hiding, Tornado will have to stop running, and together they’ll have to decide how much wreckage love is worth leaving behind.
