Luo Qiu steps through it one rain-soaked evening as an ordinary passerby and comes out the other side as the new proprietor. No initiation, no contract he remembers signing—only a ledger, a key, and a quiet girl in a maid’s uniform who claims she has been serving the club for three hundred years.

The rules are simple enough to write down and impossible to walk away from. Anyone may enter. Anyone may bargain. The club will provide what a visitor desires most—success, revenge, lost chances rewound, the one person they could not save. In return, the guest must pay with something of equal value.
