Chapter 23: Game Over, Dormitory Building "Mad King"

Before Zhou Tao could get close, Xu Lang fired.

"No." Xu Lang shook his head and bent down to keep looting Zhou Tao.

But as he bent, his pistol slipped from his hand and fell to the ground!

The flattering smile on Huang Hao's face vanished in an instant. In two or three strides, he lunged to within two meters of Xu Lang.

Xu Lang twisted, a baseball bat appearing out of nowhere, and he swung it back, smashing Huang Hao on the forehead.

After finishing the gym, Xu Lang made straight for the nearest infirmary.

Along the way he toggled the chat on and off frequently, gathering other players' movements.

News of the large zombie's death had already spread, and through the Points Leaderboard everyone knew Xu Lang was the killer.

Now the whole public chat was filled with @ mentions of Xu Lang.

He paid them no mind, keeping his gun in hand as he ran at a steady pace.

The other players were slow to react—there were free supplies everywhere on the ground, and why not pick them up?

Soon Xu Lang reached the infirmary and saw a "notable figure" there.

When Zhang Dahai saw Xu Lang, he swallowed and reflexively hid a medical kit behind his back.

Xu Lang spotted Zhang Dahai and, his eyes flashing, immediately went on to the next resource point without delay.

Zhang Dahai breathed a sigh of relief and hurried out of the infirmary as well.

The zombie's head immediately fell off!

The Dormitory Broadcast sounded somewhat exalted, as if unsealing was a huge deal.
