He hurried down the stairs, exhaling a long, murky breath, which alleviated some of the awkwardness in his heart.
He wondered if the top student he had upset would confront him with furrowed brows when they saw each other in class in the future.
Luo Yang decided to head back to the dormitory to smoke a cigarette, to calm his nerves and soothe his jittery nerves.
Walking on the school path, he was constantly looking around, wary of Xie Dongyang sneaking in to attack him.
âHaha, Niu Zai, the female top student has set her sights on you, youâre done for.
HahaâŚâ
âTo actually betray me, you two-timer.â
âHahaâŚâ
Xiao Daniu caught up from behind, putting his arm around Luo Yangâs shoulder and laughing heartily.
He was a carefree person, a foodie, and a gambling addict.
Whistling âXiao Pingguoâ, he returned to the entrance of the dormitory at Dapingpu and heard people inside playing poker.
Entering the dormitory, he discovered that quite a few new roommates instantly quieted down as if something had happened.
Out of curiosity, he looked around and saw that his bucket, which had been on his bed, was now thrown in the hallway, and his toothbrush, toothpaste, and towels were scattered on the floor.
A surge of anger rose abruptly, and Luo Yang coldly asked, âWho did this?â
No one answered.
Wu Guangde and his group continued playing poker as if it were none of their business.
âYou!â
âYou!?â
âIs it you?!â
Luo Yang first pointed at several roommates to confirm, all of whom shook their heads in denial.
He had guessed that it was Wu Guangdeâs group who had done it; he was just asking for appearances.
In the past, challenging Wu Guangde alone was not much of a winning prospect.
Since he had acquired True Qi, Luo Yang knew he could definitely beat Wu Guangde.
Starting trouble right under the bossâs nose and not beating him didnât sit right.
Sometimes a man shouldnât be too timid, or it would be embarrassing.
Luo Yang walked up behind Wu Guangde and kicked him, knocking him onto the bed.
âShui Niu, you take on the others!â
âGot it!â
Xiao Daniu went berserk as if even God would be afraid; he punched vitally and couldnât stop himself.
He was naturally cut out for fighting, thick-skinned and well-built.
Fighting was his hobby.
When he fought, he was as gleeful as if he were going to a wedding banquet.
A few students from the Donggang Brigade were frightened away, dodging Xiao Daniu.
After receiving a kick, Wu Guangde, furious, roared and sprang up to rush at Luo Yang.
Luo Yang blocked Wu Guangdeâs right fist, stepped forward half a step, and with consecutive elbows, struck Wu Guangdeâs face.
He left Wu Guangde half-dazed, then slammed both palms on his temples.
With two thumping sounds, Wu Guangde collapsed on the ground, his nose blood streaming.
The other roommates, afraid of getting involved, had already slipped out and were standing in the corridor to watch the excitement.
Spectating was always in fashion and never went out of style.
Luo Yang demanded an apology from Wu Guangde, and to pick up the toothbrush, toothpaste, and other items.
Initially, Wu Guangde resisted but, after receiving several more punches and kicks, he couldnât endure any longer and had to humbly apologize and pick things up.
âI want this bed!â
As he spoke, Luo Yang threw Wu Guangdeâs straw mat and pillow on the ground.
Xiao Daniu also took the opportunity to claim a bed under a wall fan, which had originally belonged to another student from the Donggang Brigade.
Wu Guangdeâs group was furious but dared not speak out.
In the small dormitory, power was truly spoken through fists; whoever had the bigger fist held the authority.
Some students had already reported the fight to the teachers, and the teachers called for a meeting, so Luo Yang and others had to go to the head teacherâs office to explain.
While looking for the classroom, they had heard that the head teacher of Class 3 (5) was now Suyun.
But this wasnât yet confirmed.
Suyun, a graduate of the normal university, had been teaching at Dongfeng Middle School for a year.
She was somewhat of a celebrity.
At Dongfeng Middle School, she was considered a beautiful sight, and the students privately called her Gao Yuanyuan, all wanting to be her students.
The classroom teacherâs office was located on the fifth floor of Building A, in the middle, furnished with many tables.
Walking into the office, they saw Suyun sitting in front of the desk.
Suyun had long, black, shiny hair cascading down like a waterfall, complemented by a sleeveless, V-neck, white long dress, looking ethereal and sweetly charming.
Standing in front of Suyun, one could catch the faint, orchid-like fragrance emanating from her graceful body.
âWhy did you all fight?â
Suyunâs voice was very pleasant, gentle, and melodious, quite delightful to the ears.
Hence, Luo Yang explained the reason for fighting Wu Guangde and finally shrugged, âBut weâve made up now.â
He said, draping an arm around Wu Guangdeâs shoulder and asked, âRight?â
Caught off guard, Wu Guangde hesitated, and then, with a dark, unwilling face, nodded.
By doing this, they generally avoided school punishment.
They just had to make up temporarily.
âLuo Yang, Xiao Daniu, Wu Guangde â stay back.
Other students, you may go,â Suyun instructed.
In the blink of an eye, only Suyun and three students were left in the office.
Stealing a glimpse at Suyun, noticing her fair, supple skin and full bust, every gesture she made was graceful and appealing.
Upon comparing her features with Gao Yuanyuan, indeed, they looked very alike.
