Chapter 10: Mechanic Sequence

As daylight began to break, a notification flashed before Chen Ye's eyes.

After his tricycle flickered with a faint glow, the entire vehicle transformed completely.

The tricycle no longer resembled a bicycle at all, instead looking more like a motorized three-wheeler.

The front section was exactly the motorcycle Chen Ye had discovered by the roadside last night.

The handlebars, seat cushion, and that rounded large fuel tank - if you ignored the rear portion, this was essentially a motorcycle.

The cargo bed at the back had also undergone significant changes.

For instance, the side railings had been raised slightly.

If you laid flat the rear railing and added a cushion, it could easily serve as a bed for resting.

The entire cargo bed's carrying capacity had been enhanced once again.

Although it still fell far short of the complete design he'd envisioned in the system.

"Hahaha, haven't you realized this IS that same tricycle, just modified?"

"This guy transformed his tricycle overnight into this... how is that even possible?"

Once someone pointed this out, everyone turned to stare at Chen Ye.

How could any normal person modify a tricycle like this overnight?

A long-legged girl with a high ponytail walked over.

She wore A-brand sneakers, hot pants, a cartoon-print T-shirt, and had a long sword hanging from her waist.

Chen Ye recognized her - she was the girl who had been leaping between rooftops when they escaped Xinghua Village, moving with such agility it seemed she could truly scale walls and vault over eaves.

She was a Sequence Superpowers user.

Though the other survivors didn't fully understand the girl's identity, they still regarded her with inexplicable wariness.

The girl glanced around before settling her gaze on Chen Ye, then shifting it to his motorized tricycle.

When she saw the vehicle, a strange light flashed in her eyes.

Chen Ye's hand moved toward his Hand Crossbow, aware he might not be this girl's match.

But surrendering without a fight wasn't an option.

"Is this motorcycle yours?"

The girl spoke, her voice pleasant to hear.

"It's mine!"

"Impressive! Yesterday you had a pedal tricycle, and today you've upgraded to a motorcycle."

"Really impressive!"

"Have you awakened Sequence Superpowers?"

The girl turned, her bright eyes fixed intently on Chen Ye.

Her words struck like thunder!

Chen Ye froze momentarily!

Sequence Superpowers?

Is she talking about me?

The surrounding survivors erupted into murmurs.

Some had heard legends about Sequence Superpowers before but never witnessed them.

After yesterday's events, no one considered them mere myths anymore.

Now, hearing this girl suggest Chen Ye had awakened Sequence Superpowers...

How... was that possible?

The previously disdainful looks instantly transformed into envy and jealousy.

After speaking, the girl led Chen Ye toward the vehicles at the front.

This convoy had two sharply divided social classes.

The first consisted of those driving the vehicles at the front.

The other group consisted of survivors following behind on bicycles or on foot.

Yesterday's events made it clear these people were considered expendable.

As the girl brought Chen Ye forward.

Everyone cast surprised glances their way.

Chen Ye even noticed a barefoot young man with a uniquely distinctive aura watching him.

It was impossible not to notice - the young man's presence was simply too unusual.
