Gao Gong wakes up inside the aftermath, with the system grafted to his mind and a mission that sounds insultingly simple: crawl back alive to the Black Rose Petrol Bar, or find the elusive woman called Black Rose herself.

Every step toward that flickering bar sign earns him experience points and new lines of code whispering ways to upgrade flesh into hardware. Every wrong turn invites another ambush, another reminder that someone wanted this hunter erased and doesn’t appreciate rewrites.

Starting as a Mechanical Hunter follows a transmigrator who begins his second life mid‑execution, with no time for awe, only the raw, animal work of staying breathing in a city that treats people like scrap.
