I’m wearing a lovely dress that blends the tones of black and white in a delicate and fluffy way. The black fabric is soft and light, with white lace details that spread across the edges of the skirt, creating a subtle and sweet contrast.

Pandora kneels on one knee while tilting her head up, she averts her gaze blushing as she hands me a beautiful bouquet of roses that I don’t recognize.

"Zephyra, I-I love you, would you accept being my partner on this path I follow, it may not be the easiest or most fun path, and it will certainly be covered in blood, but I will protect you and love you forever." She says with a cute smile and a flushed face, her gaze trembling slightly as if afraid of being rejected.

’All going as expected.’

I take the bouquet, instantly feeling a strange pulse, I notice that the bouquet has more than double my total mana, this bouquet alone contains an absurd amount of mana.

She watches me anxiously, and now my plan begins, as she is in love with me and this love will never end, if I reject her without a second thought, she will kneel and beg to stay with me no matter what happens.

"I would never be with an aberration like you." At this moment, her eyes fill with momentary despair, I have a smile on my face as I look at her.

I have no fear of what will happen by saying this, she loves me, so she will never hurt or kill me, the more hopeless she becomes, the easier it will be to control her.

"Understand, Demon King, all my tribe has with you are business dealings, if it weren’t for that, I would never be here talking to a horrifying aberration like you."

Everything is silent for a moment, I wait for her to start crying and begging, but nothing happens, suddenly she gets up from the ground and speaks to me.

"I understand... thank you for your time, Zephyra, you may return to your room now, sorry for the inconvenience." Her tone is cold and indifferent, just like during the conference, her voice and way of acting have a calmness that is almost strange.

She’s acting totally differently from what I thought she would.

"Y-You’re not going to say anything else, Your Majesty?" I ask with doubt.

"No, we’re done with this conversation here, you’re free, MAID, take Zephyra back to her room, and prepare my clothes for the meeting with Varion."

A maid starts guiding me as we leave the room, I’m completely in shock, she shouldn’t be crying and begging? Why does she seem not to care? Why is she so calm about this?
