In Chapter 45 of "Can I Join You?": âIt donât make me feel no way at all. I trust my men, and I... Discover the next events!
âIt donât make me feel no way at all. I trust my men, and I know how they feel about me. Hell, yâall know how they feel about me, and yâall jealous of that. So jealous that you would kidnap me for attention. Do yâall really think either of them is going to want yâall after this? Come on now, yâall gotta be smarter than that.â
âThe kind of women that donât got shit to lose and you will soon find that out,â April replied.
I looked from them to the two men that hadnât said a word. âYâall really want to die today? Because thatâs whatâs gonâ happen. I donât know if they told yâall who my boyfriends are, but they donât play about me. Yâall ainât gonâ want to be a part of that shit once they get here,â I warned.
The two men just chuckled, clearly not taking what I said seriously. That was on them because I knew better. Neither of them were going to be ready for the shit that would go down once my boyfriends arrived. As scared as I was, I knew I couldnâtshow it. Once Kadeem and Crue got here, I would be good. I just had to make sure I stayed alive until then.
CHAPTER 21
Kadeem
Irode in silence as Crue drove, swerving through traffic, as we made our way to the east side. I didnât know what we were walking into, and I really didnât give a fuck either. My main concern was Saniyah and making sure she was okay. Reaching into my pocket, I pulled out my phone and placed a call to Destiny, hoping sheâd made it back from her job. I knew we could trust her to help us get Saniyah.
âHey, Kadeem, what up doe?â
âDestiny, I need you on the pull up. Iâm sharing my location with you now. Saniyah is in danger.â
There was a short pause before Destiny replied. âIâm not far from you at all. Iâm on my way now.â
I ended the call with Destiny, and Dez called Crue with an exact location, and he put the address into his GPS. We pulled up about five minutes later to a house that damn near looked abandoned. We hadnât even been there for a full minute when Destiny came flying down the street, parking right behind us. We all got out the cars, and I quickly told Destiny what was going on before we walked up to the door. I kicked it, and the door fell instantly before we walked inside.
A man walked into the living room, and I didnât even let him get a word out before I grabbed him by his neck and squeezed tightly.
âWhere the fuck is Saniyah at, muthafucka?â Crue yelled.
I squeezed tighter, knowing that he couldnât answer. I didnât give a fuck either. We knew she was inside this house, and that was all we needed to know. I could feel the life slipping from his body, and when it was gone, I let him go, and he fell to the floor. I didnât know when Destiny walked away, but when I heard her calling out to us from the back of the house, we rushed to her.
My fist tightened when we walked into the kitchen and saw Saniyah tied to a chair, and I was ready to murder everybody. Destiny had her gun trained on the two women and man that had done this. I was shocked to see it was April and Amika. Crue rushed over and untied Saniyah, but I was so mad I couldnât even see straight. Walking over to the man, I punched him in the face, breaking his nose instantly. I continued to beat him until there was so much blood that he couldnât even be recognized.
âApril, what the fuck are you doing here?â Crue yelled.
I looked over at them, wanting to know the answer to that my damn self. I had only been with Amika once, and that was months ago when I was in Atlanta. I hadnât even so much as spoken to her after that. I damn sure had no idea that she even knew April at all. I was confused as fuck, but anger was still shooting through my veins. Although I might not kill a woman, I knew Destiny would handle our light weight.
âI did this for you, baby, just so you can see how it feels to lose something you loved just like I had to. This is your fault, not mine. All you had to do was love me.â
âBitch, are you crazy? We fucked a few times; thatâs it. Why you actinâ like we was in love or some shit? You fucked up when you took our girl though. That shit is unforgivable, and you gonâ have to pay for this.â
âWhat you gonâ do, Crue? You gonâ shoot me? You gonâ shoot me for that bitch?â April asked, looking into his eyes.
âNo, I wonât, but she will,â he said as he pointed at Destiny.
Without another word, Destiny fired four shots, hitting both April and Amika twice. Crue and I both hugged and kissed Saniyah, happy that weâd finally found her. It wasnât until we let Saniyah go that I noticed Destiny now had her gun trained on us.
âWhat the fuck?â I asked, pushing Saniyah behind me.
âYâall donât pay no attention to me at all. For years, Iâve watched yâall fuck bitch after bitch, pretending not to know. But neither one of yâall ever looked at me. If yâall had of just paid attention to me, you would have seen that we could have been great together. What the fuck did these bitches have that I didnât?â she asked, a tear sliding down her cheek.
âPut the gun down, Destiny,â I ordered as I looked into her eyes. âWhat the fuck are you doing?â
âYeah, Destiny, put that gun down before someone gets hurt,â Crue spoke.
âYâall really think shit a game, huh? Now, itâs Destiny put the gun down, but none of this would have happened if you would have just paid attention to me. I loved yâall and always had yâall back. But yâall fucked every bitch but me. Why the fuck wasnât I good enough for yâall?â
I looked at Destiny for a moment, clearly confused. Destiny had worked for Blackline for years and had been trusted with a lot of personal and professional information. We did full background checks on all of our employees before they started work. However, something like this could have never been detected.
âDestiny, what the fuck are you doing?â Crue asked.
âDestiny, what the fuck are you doing?â she repeated, mocking Crue. âThatâs a question I been asking myself every fuckinâ day for the past five years. Yet and still, each day I got upand worked for two men that I was in love with that didnât give a fuck about me.â
