Cupcake walked towards her. But the name ’Cupcake’ seemed ironic now. The creature was a majestic white tiger, standing six feet tall at the shoulder—an inch taller than Mirabella herself. Her fur wasn’t just white; it glowed with an inner, celestial luminescence, and her eyes held the wisdom of a distinct sentient species.
"Lv100... Not bad." Mirabella said, reaching up to rub the massive head of the beast who had stopped in front of her. The fur was soft, humming with energy.
"What now, Master?" Cupcake asked, her voice resonating in Mirabella’s mind, clear and mature. She moved her gaze all over the place, her sensory skills in action as she scanned for threats. She sensed no souls nearby.
"They must have all retreated to the lava field... Come on, let’s head back." She said.
Mirabella placed a hand on Cupcake’s shoulder.

Space bent around them, and they vanished instantly, leaving only a swirl of dust in their wake.
Silence returned to the crater for a long minute.
Then, the debris of a shattered rock pile shifted.

A figure slowly rose from the ground, dusting off her white uniform. Jessica moved her gaze all over the place, her silver eyes scanning the devastation with a mix of awe and frustration. Her Mythical Eye had closed, leaving her with just her standard, yet piercing, vision.
She walked towards the remains of the Crystal Emperor.
She stood above the massive upper body of the fallen Realm Boss. It was rapidly disintegrating into particles, but the chest cavity was still visible. She stared at the gaping hole in its chest, a deep frown marring her face.
"When did she remove the heart?" She thought, replaying the battle in her mind.
Then, she blinked, remembering the final strike. The pillar of red lightning that had blinded everyone, obscuring the body for those crucial few seconds.
"So she removed it then..." She sighed softly, shaking her head. It was a perfect heist executed in the middle of a god-tier battle.
"This is the first mission I failed..."
The realization tasted bitter. She was the weapon of the Sword Empire, a hybrid of the strongest bloodlines, yet she had been outplayed by a girl with blue hair and a terrifying chess board.
She pressed her palms together. The air in front of her vibrated, and the space below her feet tore open. A swirling dimensional gateway appeared, distinct from the teleportation magic Mirabella used.
"Let me report this back, first." She muttered.
She stepped onto the precipice of the gateway, ready to leave the dungeon, but she paused. Her mind drifted back to the blue-haired girl who knew her name. The name ’Mirabella’ felt foreign, yet familiar.
’I wonder who that student is to me?’
With that lingering question, she entered the gateway, disappearing from the dungeon and leaving the empty husk of the Emperor behind.
