Mirabella frowned, her eyes narrowing as she slowly turned around to face the figure that had materialized behind her. The air seemed to grow even colder, the poisonous miasma swirling around the newcomer as if acknowledging its master.Standing before her was a silhouette forged from the purest obsidian darkness. Clad in tattered, soot-black mage robes that billowed in a wind only it could feel, the figure leaned on a staff carved from the femur of a giant, topped with a glowing green gem. Where a face should have been, a polished white skull stared back with flickering emerald flames dancing in its sockets.

She blinked, her mind instantly shifting into tactical mode as she stared at the dark mage.

’Necromancer?! This will be... Fun.’ Mirabella thought, her heartbeat steady as she gripped Sunder. The thrill of facing a World Boss ignited a predatory excitement in her chest.

The skeleton mage narrowed its hollow sockets, the flickering green flames within them dancing as it observed the smile spreading across the human’s face. To a creature of the grave, such confidence was an insult.

"Getting to this point unscratched showed your strength!!" the Necromancer rasped, its voice like dry leaves skittering over stone. "For this—"

BAM!!!!

The air itself seemed to ripple. An invisible punch, heavy with the weight of an unseen titan, smashed into the Necromancer’s skull. The impact was absolute; the bone shattered into a thousand jagged pieces, flying outward like shrapnel.

’It seems my multiplier also works on the guardians,’ Mirabella thought, her smirk widening. The sheer raw power she commanded through them was intoxicating.

The God-rank skill was even more broken than she had hoped.

She watched the headless torso stumble, but her brow furrowed when the world didn’t announce her victory. "I didn’t see any kill notification. Even when I destroyed your head, you’re still alive... Now, stop playing around."

"Hehehehe... Dead Revive."

A surge of necrotic energy pulsed from the staff. In a blur of shadow, the skeleton mage reappeared several yards away, its skull fully restored and clicking with agitation.

"You are Lv170, but your attack... it took me down instantly." The mage leveled its staff at her, the bone glowing with a sickly emerald hue. "Seems I must be cautious with you."

It hoisted the staff high into the air, its voice echoing through the space:

"Dead Summons, Rise and fight for your Lord!!!"

BAM!!!

The ground beneath Mirabella’s boots groaned. She watched as skeletal hands, bleached white and hungry, burst through the soil like macabre sprouts. With a fluid motion, she leaped backward, her boots clicking against the ground just an inch from the massive, closed gate that sealed the arena.

Armor-clad skeletons rose in waves, forming a wall of rusted steel and bone between her and their master. Their lifeless eyes, mere pinpricks of blue fire, fixed on her with a singular, murderous intent.

’Are these the bodies on the zone? I am guessing he’s the one who killed them all.’

Mirabella’s gaze drifted to the rear of the horde. Rising above the humanoid thralls were monsters five times the size of a man—behemoths of bone that once ruled the wilds.

"All of you are just useless clones," Mirabella declared, her voice cold and echoing. "If I kill your caster, you die!"

She took a deliberate step forward. The moment she entered the skeleton mage’s personal space, the air groaned again.

BAM!!!!

Another Guardian struck. The Necromancer’s head shattered once more, the force of the blow enough to crack the floor beneath it. But before the bones could even settle, the mage flickered out of existence, reforming in a different location.

"Huh?" Mirabella paused, genuinely stunned.

The mage skeleton scanned the room frantically, its skull pivoting as it searched for the source of the invisible violence. ’This Human... She isn’t making a move, but what is attacking me? Does she have some invisible long-range attacks that I can’t even sense?’

It pointed its staff at Mirabella, its voice rising in a desperate bravado: "Human, you are weird... But as long as my summons are with me, you can never kill me!"

Mirabella blinked as a massive skeletal rhino, a creature that should have been a fortress of defense, suddenly disintegrated into dust.

’So he substituted one summon for his life.’ She slowly nodded, the logic of the fight clicking into place. ’This is just annoying... No matter how many times I kill him, he will just substitute with one summon and reappear again... It seems I will just have to destroy all his summons first, then him.’

A cold light entered her eyes. ’Destroy them all.’

At her silent command, five Lv500 Guardians—monstrously overleveled for this encounter—shot forward like invisible comets.

"Hahaha!! Human, feel despair! Today... You will—"

BAM!! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

The Necromancer froze. Its jaw hung open as it watched its army—the pride of its necrotic collection—shatter rapidly. It wasn’t a fight; it was a harvest.

"Huh? What is happening?!!" it shrieked, watching in horror as the head of its largest monster summon exploded into fragments.

It turned its head toward Mirabella. She was walking calmly, her pace steady and rhythmic, moving through the carnage as if she were strolling through a garden.

’Something is definitely wrong with this Human! She is only moving, then why?! What is she using?!!’

Panic flared in the undead’s mind. It leveled its staff, the green light intensifying until it was blinding. ’I don’t care, I must kill her.’

"Poisonous Ball!!"

Globes of concentrated toxic energy materialized and launched toward Mirabella with frightening speed, leaving streaks of acidic green light in their wake.

Mirabella didn’t break her stride. She simply tilted her head up toward the incoming projectiles. Beside her, an invisible Guardian reached out a hand.

BAM!!!

A wall of pure force smashed into the spell, hurling them backward with twice the velocity.

BOOOOM!!!

The explosion engulfed the skeleton mage in a cloud of green gas. Being the source of the poison, it took no damage, but the indignity of the reflected attack left it trembling. It looked at its summons—half were already gone. It noticed that the ones standing at the far back of the army remained untouched.

Mirabella took another step forward. The front line of the remaining summons instantly shattered into splinters.

’Wait!’

The Necromancer’s eyes widened, the green flames within them flickering with a terrifying realization. "So there is a range to her attack! That’s why she kept on moving, making sure my summons would be in this range... And from the distance, it’s 500 meters from her!! Isn’t this distance insane?!!!"
