Echoed the rhythmic cadence of the carriage wheels as they traversed the bustling street, blending with the symphony of urban sounds.

Inside the carriage, an uneasy silence settled among the passengers, punctuated only by the occasional creaking of the carriage's wooden frame.

Delphine, her gaze fixed on the passing scenery outside, feigned interest in the bustling cityscape to avoid meeting the piercing gaze of her niece, the tension between them palpable in the confined space.

Kai and Timmy, seated nearby, exchanged frowned glances, their furrowed brows betraying their unease with the stifling atmosphere within the carriage.

Amidst the uncomfortable silence, all eyes turned to the figure with a flushed face....the unmistakable sign of embarrassment. It was none other than Aether, attempting to mask his discomfiture behind a facade of indifference as they made their way back to the Mansion.

'Did I really just call her... a fat ass?' Aether winced inwardly, his mind replaying the unfortunate exchange with vivid clarity. He couldn't shake the memory of her weight pressed against him, those plump things landed on his waist, almost giving him a heavenly sensation had it not been for his broken bone.

Lost in his thoughts, Aether was jolted back to the present as the carriage arrived at the Frostblade mansion.

"Father!" Kai's joyful shout filled the air as he leapt out of the carriage.

"Hahaha..." Velc's laughter echoed as he caught his playful child, spinning him around in a display of paternal affection and planting a kiss on his cheek.

"F-Father!" Kai's cheeks flushed crimson at the unexpected display of affection.

"Hahaha..." Velc's laughter continued unabated as he affectionately interacted with his children, each receiving a similar treatment of joyful embraces and playful banter.

"Father! It's good to see you again," Selene spoke respectfully, bowing with grace as she greeted her father.

"Hahaha... Yes, my dear," Velc responded with warmth, returning her greeting with a kiss on the cheek before setting her down.

"Hahaha... Yes, my dear" Velc laughed as he also swirled around and kissed her cheeks before putting her down.

"Father!" Timmy's reaction mirrored that of the siblings, but his happiness was met with a stern chop to the head from Alfred, "Be mindful in front of the Masters"

"... Okay, Father," Timmy responded, rubbing his head ruefully as they made their way into the mansion, engaging in familial chatter and catching up along the way.

As Aether observed this heartwarming scene, a soft smile graced his lips. Despite his complicated feelings toward them, he couldn't help but marvel at the strong bond shared by the Frostblade family.

"Do you miss your family?" Delphine asked, leaning against the carriage with a curious expression.

"Hmm... No, I-I just want to be a good Dad," Aether muttered with a sad smile tinged with.... longing?

Delphine's face contorted in confusion. 'Father? Him? What the hell is he talking about?' She grabbed his shoulder, her tone turning stern. "Brat, you're not even grown down there. What the hell are you thinking about?"

Veins bulged on Aether's face, irritation was evident. He had been enjoying a fleeting moment of vulnerability before the harsh realities of his fucked up life, and he couldn't understand why she couldn't let him have that.

"How do you know I'm not grown down there?" Aether retorted with annoyance. Despite his desire to deny it, the truth remained: there wasn't a single pubic hair on his private parts.

Delphine was taken aback. How did she know? Well, she had mentioned catching him naked in the forest, so maybe... maybe her eyes had unconsciously fallen on the elephant trunk!

Perhaps that explained why she had been acting strangely around him.

Observing Aether's disgusted expression, Delphine's face turned bright red as she stammered, "L-Let me tell you--" But before she could continue, Aether interrupted, gently taking her hands in his.
