Chapter 13 - That Kind of Thing Is Fine

"Is this little creature part dog? Biting people so painfully, my hair’s almost been torn off!"

While complaining, the female ghost adjusted her hair. Just as she looked up, a dark gun barrel was pressed against her forehead. She was so scared she raised her hands, gulping continuously.

"Please, don’t shoot!"

"I’ll give you one minute to explain why you’re in my apartment room," Xu Xiaoyou said coldly.

"I was the previous owner of this apartment, my name is Lin Ran, I’ve already died!" the female ghost shouted. "I hung myself in the room you just napped in over ten days ago, and when I reopened my eyes, I was like this!"

The female ghost paused, then continued:

"My body became so light, as if I could float, I thought I had gained some superpower, but when I saw my body hanging in mid-air, I realized I was already dead."

"I watched the cleaning crew take my body down and out, then clean the room entirely. The whole place became brand new, as if nothing happened, and my existence was subtly erased from this world!"

"I thought it was good this way, at least I wouldn’t have to worry about a miserable life anymore, no need to go to work anymore. You have no idea how excited I was, sob sob sob."

"I should’ve just hidden at the start."

Once her ponytail was tied, Lin Ran’s dim eyes became clear again, her sharp nails retracted into her flesh, and apart from some paleness in her skin, she looked almost no different from a normal girl.
