Weeds grew endlessly, nearly as tall as a person, covering the desolate countryside. The ground supporting these wild grasses was full of sulfides and various microorganisms, emitting an unpleasant odor.

A two-meter-wide pipe continuously poured out black sewage, reflecting varied colors.
