2 Months later.It has been exactly 2 months since Ash woke up from his long comprehension session, and in these two months many things have happened. First and foremost, Eric woke up.

And he at least looked much better than before, much fresher and steadier, like someone who had finally rested after carrying a weight for far too long. The exhaustion that once lingered in his presence had faded, replaced by a calmer and more stable aura.

During the past two months, Ash spent most of his time listening to Eric. He did not interrupt, nor did he rush him, allowing Eric to slowly recount everything he had researched and developed over 3570 years.

Step by step, theory by theory, Ash absorbed it all. What had taken Eric thousands of years to refine and understand, Ash grasped within weeks, breaking down complex principles with unsettling ease.

Which although made Eric look very despondent. It was not jealousy, but a quiet heaviness. Seeing someone comprehend in weeks what had required thousands of years of isolation and relentless effort could not be processed easily.

Although Ash managed to make him cheer up to his surprise, speaking calmly and reminding him that those 3570 years were not meaningless, because without that foundation there would have been nothing for Ash to understand so quickly.

Looks like Ash was also slowly learning to cheer people up.

All things said and done, even Ash was surprised at how much his learning efficiency had improved and how much faster he understood everything. Thoughts no longer scattered or clashed. Information entered his mind and arranged itself logically, forming connections almost instantly. What once demanded long periods of focus now required only calm attention.

He attributed this change to his newly gained skill and was very pleased with his own learning efficiency, recognizing that this growth was a direct result of the transformation he had undergone in the outside world.

On this day, Ash sat on a rocking chair, sitting just below the Soul Tree under its shade. The leaves above swayed lightly, casting shifting patterns of light and shadow across the ground. He watched the quiet beauty of the Soul Tree, letting the calm atmosphere settle his mind and thoughts as the chair moved back and forth in a slow, steady rhythm.

And he used his to see the details about himself.

Due to Eye of Omniscience getting stronger, there were many changes in how his information was shown now. The display felt clearer and more layered than before.

A smile filled with satisfaction appeared on Ash’s face as he viewed all his information.

And why shouldn’t he? Earlier, when he sacrificed his ability of that allowed him to create skills, he truly believed that it would take a long while before he could even learn new skills again, let alone create a new one on his own.

That ability had been his foundation, and giving it up was not a light decision. For a brief period, he had genuinely prepared himself to walk forward handicapped, thinking progress would slow to a crawl.

But look at how fate plays with you, one second it shows you despair, but next second it shows you heaven. It lifts you just enough to remind you what hope feels like.

Similarly, one second it makes you feel safe, next second you are dead. He had learned this lesson deeply throughout the span of both of his lives.

Now he has more skills than he could even create in a short amount of time. They were not shallow or incomplete either, but refined, stable, and integrated into his being as if they had always belonged there.

All in all he was very satisfied with his own progress, and this satisfaction was not arrogance but quiet acknowledgment of the distance he had crossed.

Ash muttered as he looked at his biological age displayed before him.

While 4 years have passed outside, inside more than 5000 years have passed by creating such a disparity between Ash thoughts and the people he knew. The weight of those years did not show on his face, yet they rested within his mind, layered like sediment formed over ages.

In fact, he felt no different from before, but if one were to say that he was same as the first day he started his comprehension, that would not be True.

He could still recall that version of himself clearly, the impatience, the narrow minded, the hunger to prove something.

Ash has changed, his thoughts have changed, his priorities have changed, his mindset has matured and he was being born anew.

It was not a dramatic transformation, but a gradual shaping that only thousands of silent years could carve into a person.

Just ass his thoughts were starting to wander towards Elysia, Ash pulled his thoughts back and focused back onto his information window.

"My Race.....what should I name it..? If I am the first of it, then the name will define everything that follows."

In fact, when Ash first saw it he was confused, but by tweaking a bit here and there, he learned that he could name his own race, after all he is the first person of his new race.

The realization had stunned him briefly. But still made him excited just a little.

Many names came to his mind, but they all felt cringe and very amateurish, thus he dropped them all without hesitation. Some sounded too grand for something that had just begun, while others lacked the weight he felt within himself.

I need to think of something better and cool...Sigh....

Choosing names was not his strong trait, Ash knew it, and he was self aware enough to admit that forcing it would only make it worse. Thus he was taking his sweet time choosing, letting the idea settle naturally instead of chasing it.

Other than that, there were his Class and Rank that were blank, just like his True Name, and he had no idea if they will stay like this or even change.

As for his bloodline, lifespan and other attributes they were either mentioned as Evolving or Indeterminable because his body was still incomplete and was forming thus no fixed points.

It made sense logically, since something that was still in the process of being shaped could not yet be measured with precision.

Then there were his traits, he saw every other traits, and they were not so much different from what he knew, but there was one thing he has noticed that made his eyes narrow slightly.

The rank after the Codex of Creation has vanished... Previously it carried the rank of the trait, as it was a growth type trait.

Now the question was, whether it was temporary or there would be no rank at all? But if so, then how would his trait grow? If there was no scale to measure it, then what would determine its progress?

"Well, I will find it when time comes...lets not stress over it... There is no benefit in worrying over variables I cannot control."

With that, Ash leaned back slightly in the rocking chair, allowing the quiet rustle of leaves above him to fill the silence as his mind settled once more into calm observation.
