"..." Mia Ginger ignored him.

Bob Ginger carefully phrased his words,

Mia Ginger pondered for a moment before replying.

Bob Ginger admitted honestly,

Mia Ginger stared at the chat box in a daze for a long while, losing any mood to write.

She shut down the computer and climbed into bed.

Couldn’t fall asleep.

After ten, she got out of bed and went to Koa Jackson’s room.

The six bedrooms and the maid’s room in the villa were far apart, so even at the fastest pace, she had to cross a large artificial lawn, leaving her alone over here at night, very silent.

She turned on the light and sat barefoot on the beige carpet of the master bedroom.

Thinking about Koa Jackson.

If he didn’t come home, she actually felt uneasy.

Then she thought about Bob Ginger.

She actually didn’t want to compete with Zuri, and she hadn’t called Zoey Leaf at that time. She originally planned to visit the Jackson Family once to annoy the siblings and maybe move out to live alone.

She took a pristine white shirt and put it on in front of the mirror.

With Koa Jackson’s height of about 6’1", it naturally looked large on her, the shoulders hanging loose and draping, making even the tank top underneath seem roomy.

A bit comical, like a child secretly wearing an adult’s clothes.

Yet she felt elated.

Very happy, with a hint of secret and shameful joy.

Ignoring her flimsy shirt for now, she wore Koa Jackson’s shirt out, sat on the sofa in the hallway for a while, then in the study’s armchair for a while, reluctant to leave.

Finally, she turned off the light, pulled back the covers, lay down on Koa Jackson’s big bed, and closed her eyes, imagining his every move in this room.

Thinking this way, she gradually fell asleep.

Koa Jackson arrived home at half-past twelve, completely unaware of any oddities.

The surgery had gone much smoother than he had anticipated, so he was naturally unwilling to make do at the hospital, driving home and heading straight to his room.

He undid his tie, tossed it along with his jacket onto the sofa in the hallway, grabbed clothes from the closet drawer, and went to the bathroom, taking a shower for over ten minutes.

Drying his hair, he walked to the bedroom door and froze.

Mia Ginger was very slim, and the blanket barely raised a thin layer, creating the illusion that she was sunk into the mattress, with a soft little head poking out, looking pitiful.

Koa Jackson found it hard to process.

His gaze moved again, catching sight of the white shirt sleeves, loosely wrapped around her arms, long enough to cover her hands, unmistakably his own.

This girl, wearing his shirt, sleeping in his bed?
