Inside the office of the DH District Branch Bureau Chief Dai Li, Xiao Ruolin walked in, her gaze sweeping across the room, where besides Dai Li, there were three other figures.

All three were dressed in green uniforms, their expressions stern. The man in the center appeared to be around thirty, ordinary in features but with a sparkle in his eyes that commanded attention.

Standing behind him were a man and a woman, both looking to be in their mid-twenties.

"Captain Xiao, let me introduce you. These three are from the national special organization Dragon Soul’s Azure Dragon Squad. This is Captain Wang Tao of the Azure Dragon Squad, and the other two are his subordinates," Dai Li said, introducing them.

"People from Dragon Soul!"

Xiao Ruolin’s expression changed slightly, and her eyes flickered with surprise.

The man in his thirties, Wang Tao, looked at Xiao Ruolin and spoke.

I would like to know how you came by this information?"

"A friend told me about it," Xiao Ruolin replied.

"Who is this friend?" Wang Tao pressed directly.

"He... he learned of it inadvertently. Does this have something to do with the matter?" Xiao Ruolin’s gaze met Wang Tao’s.

Wang Tao said, "I’m just looking into it. After all, it was because of you that the national treasure didn’t fall into others’ hands. On behalf of the nation, I thank you and your friend. As for the rest, leave it to us. We will secure the treasure and return it to the nation."
