Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God - Chapter 461 - Everything goes back to three

Chapter 461 - Everything goes back to three

Words : 2103 Author : Eternal Night Knight

Chapter 461 of "Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God" starts with dramatic events: Gaven suggested from the sidelines, "There is balance in everything, even the Power of Corruption... Discover what happens!

Gaven suggested from the sidelines, "There is balance in everything, even the Power of Corruption is no exception. Since the Seed of Moando has become inseparably entwined with Luna, we should help her find balance and allow her to absorb the power of the Seed of Moando.""This method is worth trying. All things return to three, and the cycle of three powers is the most stable," Valon caught on immediately, grasping the essence of Gaven’s idea in an instant.

Previously, the Seed of Moando couldn’t be completely purified because it was in a hidden state, tucked away deep within Luna’s soul and refusing to emerge.

Nor could they purify it by force, as that would harm Luna’s soul consciousness first.

Now, however, the situation is different. The Seed of Moando has begun to take root and sprout on its own, displaying its Corruption Power, offering the Holy Light Power an opportunity to intervene.

But if it were only the Holy Light Power, it would be unable to accomplish this task, which is precisely the concern he mentioned earlier: before the purification could succeed, Luna would likely collapse first.

This was the consistent problem they faced in past purifications—whether the evil powers or souls were too tightly bound to their host’s soul or used the host’s soul as a bargaining chip.

With Gaven’s intervention, Luna now had sufficient support.

Although the Seed of Moando would absorb these Life Forces and transform them into its own Corruption Power,

such a transformation would require time, leaving Valon free to increase the flow of guided Holy Light Power without reservation.

In the end, a balance was indeed achieved.

The Seed of Moando corroded the Life Force, converting it into the Power of Corruption.

The Holy Light Power purified and assimilated this Corruption Power, which was then in turn absorbed by the Life Force.

Don’t forget, trees need to absorb the Power of Corruption to grow.

When this balance was found, the appearance of the Half-Moon Colt underwent an earth-shattering transformation.

It was no longer green flames that rose from her hooves but black ones, clearly filled with Corruption Power.

Her body remained white, still radiating that holy light, firmly suppressing the corrupt black flames below her knees.

The wings of the Pegasus, now unfurled, were no longer white but entirely green.

The feathers on the wings were less like feathers and more like crystal-clear, feather-shaped leaves.

Three starkly different colors converged on her body, yet there was no sense of disharmony; there was harmony and unity instead.

Even though Gaven and Valon had preconceived notions and had seen Luna’s original form, they both developed a feeling that her current form was the one that truly suited her.

Gaven immediately compared the Half-Moon Colt’s professional panel, the most direct window into her physical condition.

Her connection with the Dragon Oak Mother Tree had reached a new level, second only to Gaven and Lord Virginia, making it naturally easier for Gaven to observe her.

The changes within her were significant, with big adjustments to both her Attribute Points and Special Abilities, including those granted by her professional level.

Life Force: 78 (Life Dice 4D12+4D8+32)

Speed: 15 km/h, flight speed 30 km/h (limit sprint speed is five times this figure).

Attributes: Strength 19, Dexterity 18, Constitution 18, Intelligence 15, Perception 16, Charisma 20

Special Abilities:

Forest Stride (Special Ability) — You possess the ability to move freely through forest terrain, your speed will not be inhibited by any natural life, but magic effects will still apply.

Branch Ability Corruption Forest Traverse — When you activate this ability, the grass and trees within two meters of your path will wither from corruption.

For every hundred square meters of dense forest you destroy using this ability, you absorb one ring of Life Force, each ring’s energy value conferring twenty-four hours of Natural Blessing, effective in any state.

You can absorb up to a number of rings equal to your Charisma modifier, and you can choose to activate or deactivate this ability.

Natural Blessing (Special Ability) — When you run through the forest or fly a hundred meters above it, the natural power of the forest will aid you, increasing your speed by fifty percent and significantly enhancing stamina recovery, while also increasing Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution by two points each; these attributes are seen as innate.

You can release a Natural Blessing at your chosen location, infusing the Life Force within you into the land, with each ring of natural power affecting one hundred square meters of land, making the trees there thrive, and the crop yield will match the highest in Felen for an entire year.

Fairy Wilderness Home (Special Ability) — The Fairy Wilderness is your homeland, you have re-established a connection with the Fairy Wilderness, and after death, your soul will return there, your race classified as Fae Race, all attributes +1.

Spell-Like Abilities (Special Ability) — Freely cast Detect Evil and Good, Mist Spell once per day.

Undead Immunity (Special Ability) — You are naturally immune to energy-based attacks, attacks like Life Absorption and the paralyzing touch of Undead Creatures have no effect on you.

Branch Ability Immunity to Corruption — Corruption-based attacks and Corruption Plague will be ineffective against you.

Animal Companion (Special Ability) — You can choose not only ordinary animals as companions but also Awakened Plants as your animal companions.

Natural Sensing (Special Ability) — In the wilderness, you not only find food easier, but you are also better at locating sources of darkness.

Wild Identity (Special Ability) — This ability will extend to corrupted creatures, granting you Charisma and Druid level bonuses when influencing them.

Resist the Temptation of Nature (Special Ability) — You not only have an advantage against spells cast by the Fae Race, but you also have an advantage against spells of dark temptation.

Seed of Moando (Special Ability) — Your body and soul once held the Divine Nature Strength of Moando, the god of decay and corruption. This power has found balance within you and serves you, all attributes +2, granting you the abilities of the Furnace of Corruption and Corruption Burst.

Furnace of Corruption (Special Ability) — Your body is exceedingly unique, having become a furnace for the power of corruption, drawing in corruptive forces into your body and then transforming them into the purest natural power to initiate Natural Blessing.

You can accommodate a Corruption Power equal in level to your Charisma modifier, and every level of Corruption Power transformed into natural power can sustain Natural Blessing for twenty-four hours.

Once the Corruption Power you have absorbed exceeds the limit your body can hold, every round you will take 1d6 damage akin to the level of the spell, until you have completely transformed or released all the Corruption Power.

Corruption Burst (Special Ability) — You can choose to release all the Corruption Power contained within your body at once, causing a Corruption Blast in a 10-meter radius around you, dealing 1d6 impact damage per level, infecting them with Corruption Plague, and creating a concealing Corruption Black Fog, in which it is impossible to see anything beyond two meters, and neither darkvision nor dim vision is effective against it.

The Corruption Black Fog will spread at a rate of ten meters per round until it covers a hundred square meters per level, and animals and plants within it have a chance of being infected by the Corruption Plague. Once the fog reaches its maximum area, it will last for twenty-four hours, and those infected with Corruption Plague will continue to do so until the Corruption Power in their bodies is expelled or purged and healed.

Double Transformation of Corruption Power (Special Ability) — With a Charisma Transcendent reward, you originally needed twelve hours to transform one level of Corruption Power, now it has improved to six hours per level.

The current situation of the Half-Moon Colt fully elucidates what is meant by a blessing in disguise.

The benefits she obtained from it far surpass the infusion of Life Force from the Dragon Oak Mother Tree from last time.

It wasn’t just about acquiring brand new Special Abilities, her original Special Abilities also underwent a series of Enhancements, which in comparison, made a two-point increment across all Attributes seem incidental.

Her current Special Abilities primarily revolve around three points.

One is Natural Blessing, whether it’s Corruption Forest Traverse or Furnace of Corruption, the final transformed natural power all goes to this one destination.

Similarly, the bonuses provided by Natural Blessing have become incomparable to before.

Originally providing only a thirty percent enhancement to speed and stamina, now not only has the speed enhancement been increased to fifty percent, the physical Attributes each increased by two points as well.

If it were an external enhancement, these two points in Attributes wouldn’t be much.

The key is that this is an internal enhancement, and the Half-Moon Colt is only a point or two away from Transcendence in these three Attributes.

Consequently, this seems rather serious as it directly grants her Transcendent physical Attributes, unlocking Transcendent strength.

Gaven’s original concept of Overclocking was indeed half initiated on her.

What really caught Gaven’s attention was the release of Natural Blessing.

This damn thing, isn’t it just a mini-version of Favorable Weather?

If it was merely a forest blessing, the value of this ability would be quite ordinary.

Never mind whether he was willing to do it, Luna herself definitely wouldn’t want to, and it would incite intense hatred, causing a large number of people wishing to kill her.

However, if this ability is combined with Furnace of Corruption, the nature of it changes completely.

In the Land of Corruption of Felen, it’s not that such places are everywhere, but they are not few in number, especially in the Comanso Great Forest and the lands where the god Moando fell, hundreds of square kilometers of land have been corrupted.

To absorb the Corruption Power here and turn it into the purest Life Force, then bestow it upon the land, could there be any more righteous, kinder, or profitable business than this?

He had previously run to the Hammer of Holy Light, seeking weapons and methods to combat the Corruption Plague, hadn’t he?

Now, his mount had directly turned into an expert in this field, the sharpest weapon. Tʜe source of this ᴄontent ɪs ɴovᴇl(F)ɪre.ɴet

The only drawback was that this containment of Corruption Power had a limit, related to Luna’s Charisma.

The other Charisma Transcendent rewards Luna unlocked were no longer important; the increased transformation speed of Corruption Power was what was most useful to her.

Luna could only hold up to five levels of Corruption Power at most, which when converted to area of Corruption or area of Blessing, amounts to five hundred square meters.

It sounds substantial, but in reality, it is a circle with a radius of not quite thirteen meters.

However, this could be enhanced by external objects, improving Luna’s Charisma Attribute.

Boosting it by four or five points wasn’t much of a challenge for Gaven now, the Crown converted from the Crown Shield alone could provide +4 Charisma.

Compared to that, the role of Corruption Blast seems quite minor.

It is an undeniable biochemical weapon, and should not be used unless absolutely necessary.

Once used, it’s bound to be extremely hateful.

More often than not, it serves as one of Luna’s lifesaving measures.

Moreover, it has significant limitations, as Luna must be filled with Corruption Power in her body to achieve maximum lethality.

When she reached a state of Balance, the Half-Moon Colt finally came fully awake.

Valon quickly asked, "How are you feeling now?"

He didn’t have the means, like Gaven, to directly examine the Half-Moon Colt’s physical condition.

"I feel great, better than I ever have," Luna said eagerly to Gaven, "Lord, let’s go. Let’s show those bastards some color. I believe they’ll be quite shocked to see the things left by their gods."

Gaven couldn’t help but shake his head, "You’ve forgotten? The Dog Demon’s Teleportation Spell can only be used once a day. Even with your current ability being very targeted towards Corruption Power, don’t forget how vast the corrupted area we saw earlier was, and who knows how many Moando Servants are hidden in the darkness. Your ability should be kept as a trump card for use at a critical moment. To thoroughly defeat them, we’ll still need the Grand Inquisitor’s and Lord Zalanda’s full support."
