The demon leader moved its gaze on the demons falling to their deaths, one at a time, watching as the royal flames of the Cordel bloodline reduced its dark vanguard to ash. Its eyes instantly glowed brightly in rage, the abyssal energy within its core flaring violently against the dungeon’s oppressive atmospheric pressure."How dare you human!!!" It screamed to the night sky, and raised its massive, soul-reaping axe into the suffocating air.
"Come my friends!! Come!!!" It yelled.

Zaphyra raised her head to the ominous gate in the sky, her mind racing as she watched the spatial tear widen. She was watching as more demons poured out from it, a seemingly endless tide of abyssal infantry, all flying towards her with utter bloodlust.
"You guys are annoying!!" She raised her spear into the air, channeling the dense energy of her imperial heritage:
"Fire Inferno!!!"

A concentrated wave of flames burst out from her spear, a devastating AoE (Area of Effect) spell shooting into the sky, and smashed into the charging demons, painting the dark dungeon clouds a brilliant, scorching orange.
"Today!! I will kill every single one of you!!!" She screamed.
The leader laughed, a grating sound like grinding tombstones: "You actually believe you can defeat us." He raised his heavily enchanted axe into the air:
"I alone will take you down." He said, and shot forward, utilizing a high-tier movement skill, appearing in front of her in seconds.

A massive, fiery dragon claw smashed into him, the Fire Heart Dragon reacting instinctively to protect its tamer, sending the leader flying backward... The demons stabilized himself, his leathery wings flapping vigorously to arrest his momentum in mid-air.
"That dragon will die first then." He said, as the deep, cauterized claw wound on his chest started healing rapidly, a terrifying display of high-speed abyssal regeneration.
"You? A normal demons can’t heal from mine and the fire heart dragon’s attacks... That’s one of the reasons I hunted for this dragon." She said in shock, her intuition quickly calculating the enemy’s true parameters. The dragon’s flames possessed a natural anti-healing debuff.
"It only means, you aren’t a normal demon, but one of the 25 guards under the demon emperor, right?!!"
"Hahaha!!! What if you discover it? It just shows you aren’t my match!!" The demon yelled, reveling in the terror its prestigious title usually inspired.
"What number are you?" Zaphyra asked in a serious tone. In the complex, brutal hierarchy of Galaxy Fall, each of the 25 elite guards under the demon lord were ranked by numbers, and the top five from the 25 are known as Pillars, each of them is comparable to a world Boss. If the Demon before her was one of the Pillars, she doesn’t stand a chance; it would require an entire guild raid to defeat one.
"You don’t have to know that!!" The demon yelled, and raised his axe into the air, activating a commander-class ability: "Demonic rage!!" He yelled, as a sickening green light shone all over the place, instantly doubling all the demons’ stats in the vicinity.
"A commander buff... Seems you’re getting serious... I should also use all my trump cards."
Zaphyra closed her eyes, tapping into the deepest reserves of her spiritual pool. And the next moment, two huge eagle wings burst out from her back—the ultimate, physical manifestation of the Eagle Empire’s royal bloodline—and her eyes transformed into that of an eagle, granting her peerless kinetic tracking vision.
"Let’s have a good fight!" She yelled, and shot off the dragon, heading towards the leader with devastating agility.
"Fighting me head-on! What can you expect from a stupid human?!!" The demon yelled, and shot forward, while the rest of the dark army attacked the dragon, completely ignoring the colossal dungeon Monsters, who stood perfectly still before the Pillar, watching the chaos with terrifying indifference.

Zaphyra’s spear and the demon’s axe clashed, sending a violently compressed wave of spirit energy in all directions, shattering the ground below them.
"You are strong, Human." The demon yelled, pulled his dagger from his waist, and without hesitation swung it vertically to exploit her blind spot.

Zaphyra blocked the attack, as her eagle eye glowed brightly with predictive foresight. The demon quickly abandon close combat and leaped backward, as Zaphyra exploded in an offensive burst of flames.
"You are insane, human." He said, staring at the human before him, who seamlessly absorbed all the fire back in her body without taking burn damage:
’I can’t get close to her... Her flames are just too powerful.’ He clenched his fist, assessing the power scaling:
’We are both Lv300 plus, but it seems like she has the upper hand here... No way, that won’t happen, I won’t fail the Emperor!’
The demon exhaled, its breath corrupting the air: "You made me do this."

"The twentieth Elite Guard, Poison Void." She muttered, flying urgently towards her dragon.
"This is troublesome, if the demons close by inhale that gas, it will be disastrous for everyone here!" She turned her head toward the distant red Pillar where she had sent her guild mates:
’I hope they succeeded.’ She thought, knowing she couldn’t protect them from this level of toxicity.
"Hahaha!! You can’t run from this!!!" The Leader yelled, as all the lesser demons shot towards the gas, quickly inhaling it like a potent, maddening drug.
"Shit!!"
Zaphyra thrust her spear forward, violently bursting the head of an intercepting demon, and landed heavily on fire heart’s head.
"Retreat!!! Create as much distance as possible!!" She yelled.
The Dragon nodded, turned on a dime, and shot away, pushing its flight speed to the maximum.
"I said it!! You can’t run!!" Poison Void screamed, as the demons who have inhaled the gas started violently mutating, glowing with a highly unstable green light.
WHOOSH!!!
They all shot forward with ten times their original speed, their bodies weaponized into living bombs, heading straight towards Zaphyra.
"Shit!!!"
The first mutated demon appeared instantly above the dragon, its body expanding.
"Dive!!!" Zaphyra roared, and the moment the dragon dived, and demon exploded into a massive, corrosive cloud of poisonous smoke.
"Make sure not to inhale it! If you do, your skin will rot, and you will instantly turn into an undead!!" She warned her dragon, her imperial composure finally cracking as she looked over her shoulder at more than fifty glowing, suicidal demons shot towards her in a swarm.
"No! Am I going to die like this?!"
