After spending half an hour, Ye Fan successfully moved his office location to Room 809 on the eighth floor, the Human Resources office.

Since it was only a temporary office, space was limited, and he, as the deputy manager, had to share an office with the other ordinary staff.

Fortunately, the office was spacious, and the HR department wasn’t fully staffed yet; including him and Hu Jing, there were only four people.

As a leader, he naturally had the right to choose the most private spot in the entire office, so Ye Fan unabashedly picked the corner by the wall at the very back.

Sitting there, he didn’t have to worry about subordinates or people entering from outside easily seeing what he was doing.

Two subordinate employees, a man and a woman, diligently helped him arrange his desk and set up the computer.

What are your names?

And yours?” Ye Fan asked the two subordinates.

The female subordinate quickly answered, “My name is Fang Yueyun.

Manager Ye, from now on I am at your command, just give me your tasks, and I will complete them with all my might.”

This woman was twenty-four or twenty-five years old, 1.60 meters tall, with above-average looks.

“My name is Ma Zhengyou.

It would be a simple matter for Zeng Jingwei to transfer to Hua Hai Music College when the school term began in September; the key was finding her a good teacher.

Music is about transmission and connections; many famous, profoundly skilled singers or vocalists have fabulous music teachers behind them.

Merely entering a music college to study and expecting to become famous upon graduation, singing across the country, was nearly impossible.

For instance, Su Hong, Mao Amin, Li Jie, Jie Xiaodong, Na Ying, and Sun Nan all shared a terrific music teacher, Gu Jianfen.

Ye Fan was determined to help Zeng Jingwei realize her music dreams and wouldn’t stop at merely getting her into a music college; finding her a capable music teacher was the first step.

Of course, searching online wasn’t completely reliable, but it provided a reference point to prevent him from being utterly clueless and taking others’ words at face value.

After searching online for about half an hour and noting down some renowned music teachers, Ye Fan stepped out of the office and walked to the stairwell landing at the end of the hallway to make a call.

His phone rang twice before it was picked up, and immediately a joyful and doting voice came through, “Giggle, dear son, missing Mommy?”

“…” Holding the phone, Ye Fan felt numerous dark lines rise on the back of his head, unsure how to reply.

Saying he didn’t miss her would be incorrect, for how could a son not miss his mother?

Yet saying he did, sounded like he was a child who hadn’t weaned yet.

“Son, are you there?

Say something.” Ye Fan’s mom didn’t hear a response and called out.

Ye Fan cleared his throat and said, “Mom, how have you been recently?”

“Great, great, of course great.

Even if not, my mood instantly brightens when my son calls.” Ye Fan’s mom giggled, “You haven’t forgotten your mom since getting a wife, I’m so happy.”

“Mom, why bring this up?” Ye Fan said discontentedly, “How could that ever happen?”

“Giggle, yes, yes.” Ye Fan’s mom laughed happily, “Son, is there something you wanted to talk about?”

Ye Fan said, “About the investment in Emali Group, thank you.”

“What’s there to thank?” Ye Fan’s mom feigned displeasure.

Ye Fan laughed, “Hehe, then no thanks.

When I come home for the New Year, I’ll buy you a big, fancy gift to show my appreciation.”

“Good, it better be expensive and beautiful to make your dad jealous,” Ye Fan’s mom immediately said joyfully, “Wow, I really look forward to it…”

Ye Fan, feeling embarrassed, quickly changed the subject, “Mom, there’s something I need to ask you.”

“What’s up?

Tell me,” his mom said.

Ye Fan said, “You have a wide network, could you help me find out who the best music teacher in the country is?

Preferably in Hua Hai.”

“Music teacher?

Son, are you thinking about getting into art?” Ye Fan’s mom exclaimed in shock.

“That won’t do at all!

Your grandpa and dad would break your legs if they found out.

Don’t get involved in such things.”

Ye Fan responded with a wry smile, “Mom, don’t worry.

With how rough I am, how could I possibly get into art?

It’s for a friend of mine, she wants to study music.”

“Oh, if it’s for a friend, then that’s fine,” Ye Fan’s mom breathed a sigh of relief, “Since it’s for your friend, I’ll ask around for you.

If it were for you, I wouldn’t.

I’ll give you an update in a few days.”

“Thanks, Mom,” Ye Fan laughed.

After chatting a bit more, they hung up the phone.

After ending the call with his mom, Ye Fan thought for a moment then dialed Tantai Wanrong’s number.

Soon, the phone connected and Tantai Wanrong’s sweet, elegant, soothing, and melodious voice came through, “Ye Fan?”

“Hehe, Aunt Wanrong, I hope I’m not disturbing your work?” Ye Fan said with a smile.

“Not at all,” Tantai Wanrong replied with a small laugh, “I’ve been busy with work recently and haven’t had the chance to call you.

Are you doing okay?”

“Yes, not bad,” Ye Fan replied, “And you?

Don’t work yourself too hard.”

“Giggle, don’t worry.” Tantai Wanuong laughed lightly, “By the way, when are you free?

I’ve recently found you a nice potential partner.”

Hearing that laugh, the image of her alluring narrow eyes couldn’t help but pop into Ye Fan’s mind.

However, her words snapped him back to reality.

“Aunt Wanrong, maybe there’s no need?” He protested, his head spinning.

Tantai Wanrong laughed seductively, “Hehe, I’ve spent quite some time looking into this for you.

Tell me a time, and I’ll arrange for us to meet her over a meal this weekend, okay?”

well, I don’t know if I’ll be free,” Ye Fan said, struggling.
