Five hundred thousand credit points, enough for these bloodthirsty individuals to squander away their lives in Nest City.She wanted to leave amid the chaos, but her body felt shattered, her mind in turmoil, even getting up was a struggle.

She thought the chaos would last until only one person was left, but suddenly, piercing gunshots cracked through the still night air from afar.

"Hmm?" She looked up.

At that moment, several black cars suddenly arrived at the tunnel entrance. By the dim light, she saw the Lions dressed in formal suits alighting from the vehicles.

"Damn, it's the Lion Group..."

A thug barely finished his shout before taking a bullet to the chest, collapsing onto the ground.

The Lions quickly cleared the remaining thugs in the tunnel. One Lion noticed Xu Xiaoyou resting against a wall, nodded, and turned to his companion:

"Found her."

Ling, carrying a medical kit, rushed to Xu Xiaoyou, crouched down, and examined her physiological condition:

"Vital signs are relatively stable. I can't believe you survived this, you're quite lucky."

Xu Xiaoyou watched as the person lifted her coat, hands searching for something on her body, then drew out a vial with icy blue liquid through her shirt, injecting it into her.

As the icy blue liquid level slowly dropped, a fog-like gas permeated the air. Xu Xiaoyou's nose approached the mist, inhaling the scent of mint.

Soon, she felt much better, at least able to get up and move.

But she didn't rush to rise, instead still leaning against the wall, her eyes fixed on one of the figures among the Lions.

The hunched Lion noticed this gaze and suddenly chuckled.

She saw disdain, mockery, and ambition in the other's eyes.

As the Lions planned to step forward and lift her into a black car, the hunched Lion suddenly spoke, deliberately stretching his tone:

"Oh~ everyone."

"That's five hundred thousand credit points, are you really going to listen to that deer and let her go?"

"Manji!"

The scar-faced Lion shouted angrily, stepping forward and delivering a punch to the hunched Lion's jaw.

"I said..."

As he seized Manji's collar, the Lions around him swiftly moved, with several drawing handguns aimed in his direction, one even pressed against the back of his head.

Among the dozen Lions, only three were startled by the sudden scene, freezing in place, perplexed:

"What are you, what are you doing?"

Xu Xiaoyou raised an eyebrow, things were getting interesting. She looked towards the tunnel exit, now no one's attention was on her...

"What did you do exactly?" The scar-faced Lion suppressed his inner anger, questioning in a low voice.

"What else could I have done?"

Manji snorted, breaking free from the other's grip on his collar, moving to the center among all the Lions,

"I want to set the Lion Group on the right track!"

"Calling you old leader, do you really take yourself seriously?"

Saying this, a Lion suddenly stepped forward to stir trouble, swung an iron rod, brutally smashing the scar-faced Lion's right leg, forcing him into a half-kneeling position.

The scar-faced Lion's face twisted, teeth clenched.

Despite his current disarray, hair disheveled like withered leaves, the proud chest still resembled a former king, and the dignity and anger emitting from his eyes made the surrounding Lions retreat, not daring to advance.

"Don't even think about resisting, today's squad is entirely my people,"

"That investigator only asked for a living body, how about we..." Two Lions exchanged glances, both showing lecherous smiles.

Seeing familiar, trusted figures among the Lions echoing Manji, the scar-faced Lion recognized Manji's true nature, realizing how big the other's ambitions were.

The real goal was not to oust Mr. Hao, Manji had long harbored ambitions for the Lion Group leader position!

Unbeknownst, the other had developed allies, become a hidden threat.

Even if today's events unfolded as Manji suggested, after returning, it would be hard to continue suppressing this guy.
