“I thought so too, but you know, hate is a fine line from love and all that poetic stuff.”

I guess I needed time to come to terms with it first before I talked to you guys about it. And believe me, it took a lot of fighting my demons and my very soul to come to terms with how much I love being with Marcus. He…he quiets my mind, you know. He makes me feel safe and is so patient with me and always gives me everything selflessly, and I need that. “Yes, wewilladapt, Jude.” Kane squeezes my shoulder. “Knowing Pres and what happened to him, he must’ve gone through it to be able to accept it, and if he says he loves him, that’s not easy for him to admit, isn’t that right?”
Something stupid burns in my eyes, my chest feeling so full and tight. “Do you have any idea how many meltdowns I experienced on the fucking regular?”
Kane smiles. “I can only imagine.”
