Elven Invasion
Synopsis
The sky tears open over a crowded city at rush hour, and what spills through is not ash or metal, but trees.
They rise from cracked asphalt and subway roofs in a single breath, roots smashing concrete, branches dripping silver light. At their center walks Luna, goddess of Forestia, her elven host moving like a green storm front. She hasn’t come for conquest out of pride. Her world is dying, its forests thinning to dust, its rivers running dry. Earth, choked with machines and firelight, is her last desperate cure.
To the humans watching satellites burn out and airplanes fall silent, it looks like the end of everything.
Laboratories go dark as magic eats through power grids and data centers like a slow, bright rust. Scientists who once trusted only equations find their computers flowering with vines. Soldiers discover bullets flattening against invisible shields of moonlit bark. Every weapon Earth built against itself is useless against the quiet patience of an ancient forest.
Caught in this collapse are people who never meant to be heroes: engineers who can’t stop checking dead phones, hackers staring at blank screens that now reflect strange constellations, children who wake to find elven lights flickering outside bedroom windows.
Humans and elves, steel and sap, city and wilderness—each side fighting for the right to exist, each certain the other is the disaster.
Between a fading goddess and a terrified planet, a choice takes shape: cling to what we’ve built, or learn to live inside something wilder and older. One path saves a civilization. The other saves a world.
