Chapter 42 - Demon Whisperer VS Space Mage

“Spatial Solidification!” Without mincing words, Vili directly activated his Magic Power and used his Skill to ambush Lando.

For a woman who wanted him to mate with Shrek, Vili showed no mercy, knowing that if he were caught by Lando, the outcome would definitely be as predicted.

“Don’t rush.” Lando, always on guard against Vili, felt the magic energy inside her body surge, instantly shattering the space around her and dodging Vili’s sneak attack.

“Just using magic energy to break my Skill, Ms.

Lando is indeed as powerful as the rumors say.” Vili swung his arm, sending an invisible iron fist silently hammering toward Lando.

“Spatial Skills really are covert.” Lando keenly sensed a slight fluctuation in the space on her right side and immediately erected a green magic energy barrier.

Vili’s Spatial Heavy Punch slammed hard on the barrier, creating an astonishing fluctuation.

“No wonder Danni has always been unable to completely eradicate your Sect’s influence; your Sect Hierarch Ze Xiu must be even more incredible.” Vili was beginning to understand why Danni had struggled against the Sect for decades with little success.

“You are much more capable than that old woman; Lando likes you quite a bit!” Lando licked her lips, her gaze filled with charm as she stared intently at Vili.

“Still want to have me merge with Shrek?” As an old bachelor, Vili had seen all kinds of women and had no interest in female charms.

“That was just a joke.

If Lord Vili is willing to spare my life, perhaps one day we could explore life in a more interesting place~” Lando continued to brazenly flirt with Vili.

“Heh!” Vili did not respond.

Perhaps feeling that communicating with Lando was futile, Vili’s eyes turned a pure silver color.

“Demon Whisper – Weaken!” Lando knew full well that this was the sign of a Space Mage preparing for full combat, so she directly used her Skill, attempting to weaken Vili’s strength.

“Spatial Lock!” Vili, well aware of the power of Demon Whispers, immediately locked the space around himself, completely blocking Lando’s Whisper.

The Demon Whisper couldn’t reach Vili’s ears, and naturally, it posed no threat to him.

“Such a nuisance!” Lando cursed quietly.

Although her Skill was powerful, it was useless if it couldn’t reach her opponent’s ears.

Could it be that Vili was sent specifically by the Great Emperor Konstantin to intercept her?

This Space Great Mage clearly had a career advantage over her.

“Lando, take this hit from me!” Vili chanted softly.

As the Magic Power inside him erupted, the entire space where the two of them were located seemed to tremble.

“Great Spatial Slash!” As Vili swept his arm, a hundred-meter-long temporal rift suddenly appeared in front of Lando, as if it would tear her apart.

How could Lando be hit by such a powerful Spatial Skill?

“Demon Shield!”

Lando hurriedly summoned a giant shield adorned with numerous demon reliefs, which staunchly blocked Vili’s Great Spatial Slash.

“Spatial Scepter.” Vili flipped his palm, and a pure silver staff fell into his hand—the treasure of a Heavenly God, a Level 11 weapon!

“Summon the Demon Skull!” Seeing Vili pulling out his Third-Transition divine weapon, Lando no longer held back and summoned her own Third-Transformation Demon weapon as well.

With the staff in hand, Vili stood like a Heavenly God come to life: “Spatial Shatter!”

As he swung the staff, everything within a thousand meters began to crack inch by inch, like a mirror shattering!

“Demon Gaze, Whisper’s Blessing!” Lando poured magic energy madly into the summoned giant skull which, stimulated by the magic energy, slowly opened its eyes and roared in the demonic tongue.

The visible green sound waves continuously swept over the fragmented space around them, attempting to smooth out the Shatter created by Vili.

At the stalemate of their Skills, Lando seized the moment to activate the Demon Skull; two green beams suddenly shot from the eyes of the Demon Skull, directly targeting Vili.

“Spatial Exile!” Vili’s fingers curved slightly as he grasped towards the green light.

The speeding green light suddenly disappeared, and it was unknown to which plane Vili had banished it.

“Such sneak attacks are meaningless.” Vili spoke.

“Is that so?” Lando smiled, her eyes full of cunning.

Could there be a twist?

Vili was startled, feeling a slight fluctuation in the space behind him and hurriedly sidestepped to dodge.

But Vili’s reaction was still a step slow; the green light plunged directly into his body.

The Demon’s power exploded inside Vili, continuously eroding and weakening his Magic Power.

“How could this happen?!” Vili roared.

It had been hundreds of years since he last sustained an injury, and this fact made his anger unstoppable.

“Demons also have the ability to tear through space~” Lando giggled, “How about that?

Surprised?

Unexpected?”

“Lando, you’re seeking death!” Vili quickly suppressed the demonic energy within his body using the power of his scepter.

He admitted he had underestimated Lando, so he would not hold back any longer.

“Then let me see just how formidable the great space mage really is!” At this moment, Lando’s will to fight was extraordinary, her eyes burning with eagerness as she gazed at Vili.

If she could hit him once, she could certainly do it again.

Unfortunately, Vili was not going to give her another chance.

“Divine says, solidify!” Vili bellowed, and as soon as his words fell, the space around Lando instantly locked her in place without even a chance to resist.

How could this be?!

Lando struggled vigorously but couldn’t break free from the space solidified by Vili.

“Divine Punishment, Blade of Space!” Vili swung his scepter again, and the entire sky behind him suddenly trembled, as if being torn apart by a pair of invisible hands, rolling into a sharp sword that stabbed down towards Lando.

Watching the impending doom, Lando deeply regretted her actions.

The previous two skills, one starting with “Divine says” and the other with “Divine Punishment,” these were not skills wielded by ordinary humans!

This damn Vili was practically on the verge of Divine Enthronement, boasting a strength that had surpassed the Third Transition Peak and was still improving.

She swore that if she had known Vili’s level earlier, she would have fled instantly—there was no point in fighting this!

“Life Sacrifice!” In a critical moment of life and death, Lando didn’t care about anything else and ignited all her magic power along with a vast amount of her life force.

This barely allowed her to break free from the spatial solidification, but Vili’s blade of space still penetrated her chest, the shadow of death closer than ever.

“Hell’s Transport!” Using the last of her strength, Lando forcibly opened a portal to the Hell dimension behind her and plunged through it, propelled by the space blade.

“Trying to escape?” Vili’s eyebrows lifted, and he swung his scepter again: “Come back here!”

Driven by Vili’s magic power, he forcefully locked the space where Lando was and tried to drag her back from the Hell dimension.

At this moment, Lando, severely injured, could only watch helplessly as she was slowly dragged back from Hell.

Just as she was about to be pulled out of the dimension, a roar from a Hell lord erupted from the abyss, instantly shattering Vili’s spatial skill.

“It’s a Hell lord!” Lando was overjoyed.

She hadn’t expected the Hell lord to detect the spatial anomaly and come to her rescue.

Then, a gigantic demonic hand harshly grabbed Lando and yanked her back into the Hell dimension.

“Hell Lord Akanon!” Vili naturally recognized this ancient Hell lord, who possessed power comparable to a Heavenly God.

“Too bad you can’t leave Hell,” Vili stood in front of the portal, not worried at all that Akanon would launch a sudden attack since the world’s will absolutely wouldn’t allow a Heavenly God-level power to break through.

Akanon also knew that he couldn’t cross worlds; after taking Lando away, he seemed to have left the portal free.

“Are you waiting for me to enter?” Vili saw through Akanon’s thoughts and laughed, “Someday I will march into Hell, but not today.”

“I’ll be waiting for you!” Akanon’s voice came from a distance, permeating through the portal of Hell, corrupting and withering everything around Vili.

“You won’t wait long.” Vili swung his scepter, immediately erasing the portal.

As the distortion in space gradually smoothed, Vili suddenly spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.

Merely the Hell lord’s sonic attack had severely wounded him, even though he was now nearly at the level of a Heavenly God.

Yet true Heavenly God-level power was still unimaginably formidable to him!

“Below the gods, all are mere ants, indeed…” Vili wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, now extremely weak.

He had initially intended to also help resolve the crisis at the Hell rift, but it seemed that was no longer possible.

Vili sighed, activated his magic power, and in an instant traversed mountains and rivers to return to the White Tower.

“Lord Vili, how did it go?” The Clan Leaders of the Eight Great Families were waiting inside the White Tower and hurriedly approached to ask as Vili returned.

“The situation at the Hell rift will need your own strategies now.

The Eight Families’ coalition force was obstructed by Lando, and by the time I arrived, it was already too late.

Though I saved some, your forces have nearly halved.”

That damned witch of the Hell sect!” Some of the Clan Leaders immediately became enraged upon hearing this news, quickly asking, “So, Lord Vili, did you manage to kill her?”

Vili shook his head: “She was saved by the Hell lord, and I was also injured.”

“What are we to do now!” The Clan Leaders of the Eight Great Families immediately became distressed.

Their territories, protected by the Heavenly God Formation, naturally did not fear the threat of the Hell sect, but their assembled army had already lost more than half.

If the Sect Hierarch of the Hell sect sneaked out to slaughter again, their Eight Great Families could be utterly drained.

“The Sect Hierarch of the Hell sect is likely currently restrained by Danni.

Although Lando was rescued by the Hell lord and also severely injured, she wouldn’t recover anytime soon.
