Chapter 93: Is talking tough useful at 93?

The onlookers had already been apprehensive to act, and upon hearing this, they felt even more justified in standing back. It seemed to them that indeed Yuan Tianbo had willingly offered his face for instruction, appearing very keen to learn something.

Although this thought combined with the current scene might be a bit self-deceptive, it did provide them with a self-consoling excuse.

Finally, Yuan Tianbo spurted out a mouthful of blood. "You have the nerve to lecture others," he thought. "Don’t think I don’t know that your blows weren’t any lighter than theirs."

The onlookers turned their heads away, no longer able to witness such shamelessness.

Hua Yuezi and Zirong struggled to suppress their laughter and moved to help Yuan Tianbo up, but how could his lackeys allow others to do it for them? As soon as Han Yan gave the signal that the danger had passed, they quickly rushed over to clumsily help Yuan Tianbo to his feet.

"Han Yan, this isn’t over between us," Yuan Tianbo said, standing up with the support of his subordinates, trembling and grinding his teeth.

"Take him, let’s go," Yuan Tianbo said fiercely, though he knew the wisdom in not biting off more than he could chew. Glancing at Che Xiang, who had been beaten down by the lackeys to a pitiful state on the ground, he ordered his lackeys.

"Wait," Han Yan blocked their path.

"Han Yan, what do you want now?" Yuan Tianbo instinctively took a half-step back. Despite his tough talk, fear crept into his heart. He had just been on the receiving end of a severe beating; it was only natural to feel apprehensive.
