Chapter 259: Unexpected Visitor

I had just returned to the serene grounds of the Butterfly Mansion after dealing with Gyokko, feeling the calm air brush against my face. But, of course, peace was fleeting. A familiar voice, cheerful and full of energy, called out to me.

"Alex-kun!"

I turned toward the shimmering portal of a Gate, and before I could react, a blur of motion barreled straight at me. It was Serafall Leviathan, one of the Four Great Satans, and as always, she made an entrance.

"Serafall, why are you here?" I asked, though my tone lacked any genuine surprise. It was hard to predict her, but not so hard to expect her spontaneity.

"I missed you!" she exclaimed with her usual enthusiasm as she leapt into my arms. Before I could respond, she kissed me full on the lips, her affection as unabashed as ever. When she pulled back, her bright, mischievous eyes sparkled. "Why? You didn’t miss me?"

I let out a chuckle, resting my hands on her waist as I gently lowered her to the ground. "Of course, I missed you, but you know I’ve been busy."

Serafall pouted, crossing her arms. "Busy, busy, busy! That’s all you ever say. You should make more time for your adorable girlfriend."

Before I could respond, a faint shift in the air caught my attention. It was a familiar sensation—other presences approaching. Moments later, Shalltear, Lupusregina, and Yuki stepped into view, their expressions ranging from curiosity to irritation. Clearly, they had sensed Serafall’s arrival.

"My Lord," Shalltear said, her crimson eyes narrowing as she walked closer. "I sensed an unfamiliar energy and came to investigate... and it seems it was her." Her tone turned icy as she glanced at Serafall.

It seems she didn’t like an unexpected visitor.

Lupusregina, on the other hand, grinned widely, though her amber eyes gleamed with something more predatory. "Serafall, huh? Fancy seeing you here. You’ve got a knack for making dramatic entrances."

Lupus sounds like she has known Serafall for ages. But I know that she is also not happy with seeing her.

Yuki looked between all of us, her brows furrowing in confusion. "Uh, Master? Who... is this?" she asked, gesturing toward Serafall.

I sighed internally. Yuki had yet to meet Serafall, and given how... spirited Serafall was, I had a feeling this introduction would be an experience.

Stepping forward, I placed a hand on Serafall’s shoulder, smiling at Yuki. "Yuki, this is Serafall Leviathan. She’s my girlfriend."

Yuki blinked, her expression shifting between shock and disbelief. "Girlfriend? You’re also dating her?"

Serafall beamed, stepping closer to Yuki with her usual exuberance. "Yep, He is also dating me! Serafall Leviathan, is the most adorable and cute girlfriend in existence! It’s nice to meet you, Yuki-chan~!" She extended her hand enthusiastically.

It seems somebody told her about Yuki; it must be Albedo or Death.

Yuki hesitated for a moment before shaking Serafall’s hand. "Uh... nice to meet you too," she said, though her tone was cautious. "I didn’t know master was... involved with someone like you."

"Well, now you do!" Serafall chirped. She spun around to face me, her pout returning. "Alex-kun, why didn’t you tell her about me sooner? Don’t you want everyone to know how amazing your girlfriend is?"

I rubbed the back of my neck. "It’s not that, Sera. Yuki’s only been with us for a short time. I hadn’t gotten around to it."

Shalltear crossed her arms, her lips curling into a smirk. "Amazing, you say? I’d say annoying fits better."

Serafall’s cheerful expression faltered, her gaze snapping to Shalltear. "And who are you to talk, huh? I’m Alex-kun’s girlfriend. You’re just his... minion."

Shalltear’s eyes flared with indignation. "Minion? I’ll have you know I’m one of Lord Alex’s most loyal and capable Wife!"

"Girls," I said firmly, cutting off their argument before it could escalate. "Enough. We’re all on the same side here."

Serafall huffed, crossing her arms again. "Fine, but only because you said so, Alex-kun." She turned to Yuki, her demeanor softening. "So, Yuki-chan, how do you know Alex-kun? Are you one of his... uh, followers too?"

Yuki hesitated, glancing at me as if seeking confirmation before answering. "Not exactly," she said carefully. "I am one of his... Vampire Brides, it seems."

Serafall’s eyes widened, and then she clasped her hands together in excitement. "Ohhh! Is that so? Then that makes you his newest harem member!" Her voice was full of playful mischief.

Hearing the word "harem," Yuki’s face turned a bright shade of red. She stammered, "W-What? Harem? No, it’s not—well, I mean—" Her flustered response only seemed to amuse Serafall further.

"Aww, you’re so cute when you blush!" Serafall teased, leaning closer to Yuki. "You’ll fit right in. Don’t worry; I’ll give you tips on how to handle Alex-kun. He can be a handful sometimes."

Yuki glanced at me, her embarrassment evident. "Is this normal?" she whispered. "For your... uh, companions to talk like this?"

"Unfortunately, yes," I replied, stifling a laugh. "You’ll get used to it."
