Synopsis
Shiv dies on a muddy street with a broken weapon in his hand and a monster’s blood still cooling on his skin.
That should have been the end for the town’s favorite scapegoat—the boy branded an omen, the one the System itself refused to bless. No Path. No future. Just a life of throwing himself at low-tier beasts beyond the walls, hoping the right kill might finally make the world acknowledge he exists.
Instead, death notices him.
When invaders tear through his frontier home and Shiv falls in the chaos, something answers. The System carves a singular route into his soul: a Unique Path no one has ever walked.

Shiv learns to treat his own corpse like a resource, to turn agony into progress, to share meals and battles with unlikely allies, from sharp-tongued companions to disturbingly friendly spider-folk.
