Chapter 12 - Negotiations on the Train

“Ah, this compartment looks nice!

Only two people inside and both are non-smokers.”

But what ‘Northeast Wild Tiger’ didn’t know was that when he needlessly opened the cabin door…

a male Anopheles mosquito joyously flapped its wings, buzzing in through the door!

“Enough, Tiger!

Stop messing with me and state your terms!” An angry and frustrated voice of Addicted echoed in the sleeper cabin.

Tiger finally broke into undisguised laughter.

With his reputation, Addicted called for a tough negotiation.

Tiger had to soften him up to make the upcoming deal easier.

He closed the door, walked back, and took a seat on his lower bunk bed.

Across him was Addicted.

“Addicted, actually, I know all about your current predicament!

You were stabbed in the back recently, poisoned, and without my antimicrobial peptides, you’ll have no cure, right?” The Northeast Wild Tiger spoke casually.

“How did you know!” Addicted furrowed his eyebrows.

The two men immersed in their icy conversation were completely oblivious to a mosquito that had just rested in the crevices of the upper bunk, suddenly froze!

what’s happening here?

Did I just step into some dangerous situation!

Northeast Wild Tiger?
