Chapter 36: Chapter 36: Interaction Mode (1)Koa Jackson stood for a moment at the bedroom door, ready to leave, when Mia Ginger, sleeping soundly, turned over, making him halt.

He really hadn’t seen someone sleep in such a posture.

Mia Ginger held the air conditioning quilt with both hands, and a slender, fair leg stretched out, gripping the quilt.

Koa hesitated for two seconds on the spot, stepped to the bed, leaned over, and grasped her arm, positioning her body flat on the bed.

She’s really petite, with thin arms and legs, white and tender like lotus roots.

It feels like she’d snap with a crisp sound.

Too skinny.

Koa sighed, pinching the quilt to cover her, then noticed his own white shirt and found it quite odd, unable to understand her behavior.

Being accustomed to a life of simplicity and restraint, he completely overlooked whether Mia’s small limbs could be considered sexy.

Instead, he increasingly felt she resembled a child.

Still, she looked pitiful, like someone who needed care.

Koa turned around to go outside, to sleep on the sofa.

There were many rooms in the villa, but he hadn’t asked Aunt Lee to check and tidy them in advance, so he couldn’t bring himself to sleep there.

He could only make do with the sofa for the night.

When Mia Ginger woke up, the sky was bright.

Yawning, she turned over, facing a green shadow outside the floor-to-ceiling window.

It was green bamboo.

Mia rubbed her hair and sat up, looked down to see the white shirt she wore, utterly embarrassed, lifted the quilt and got out of bed, then headed to the wardrobe.

A man’s suit jacket was draped on the sofa’s back.

As she was in a daze, the door lock clicked twice, and someone came in.

Koa Jackson had just returned from a morning run, wearing a white tracksuit, and seemed equally surprised to see her.

White is quite discerning, especially sportswear, which makes one appear overweight if not tall and slender; very few can portray a clean and upright aura.

But with his sharp brows and clear eyes, and cold demeanor, he made it look not only good but youthful.

Koa also gazed at her.

Mia’s short hair was tousled, wearing his white shirt, loose and oversized, standing barefoot on the floor, her pristine legs slender and straight, like lotus roots.

"Where are your shoes?" Koa asked with a slight furrow of his brow, like a parent.

"Where’s the room?" Mia tugged her hair with one hand, shrunk her feet, and said in an annoyed tone, "Uh, I think I sleepwalked again, really sorry."

"..." Koa found himself speechless.

"I even wore your clothes." Mia looked up at him, a bit uneasy.

"No harm," Koa lowered his gaze to look at her, "Change and freshen up, let’s have breakfast together."

"Oh." Mia responded, entered his wardrobe, grabbed her own shirt, exited with a blush, and left the room.

Running around barefoot!

Sleepwalking?

Koa pressed his fingertip against his forehead and pondered as he entered the bathroom.

At half-past seven, the two were seated at the dining table.

The villa has a total of four dining rooms of varied sizes, and breakfast was arranged in the nearby Western-style dining room.

"Miss, would you prefer milk or juice?"

Before Aunt Lee’s voice could fully land, Koa, just seated, immediately responded, "Give her milk."

"I don’t like drinking it." Mia instinctively replied, then realized it was inappropriate, grinning awkwardly at Aunt Lee, "Juice, please."

"Give her milk." Koa repeated, sat down and looked at her, saying calmly, "Milk nourishes the lungs and stomach, generates saliva and moistens intestines, and has a calming effect on the nervous system; your sleep isn’t good, have a cup in the morning and evening."

Mia: "..."

But Aunt Lee was delighted, switched her drink to milk with a smile, and said, "Young Master Jackson is a doctor, his words are never wrong, just milk, milk is good."
