Koa Jackson clocked out right on time.

His phone suddenly vibrated in his pocket before he got home.

It's a text message.

"I'm heading home today, just letting you know via text. I'll go stay over there in a few days." The emotionless message came from Mia Ginger.

"Okay."

Koa Jackson replied with a single word, tossing the phone onto the passenger seat as he turned a corner and headed towards the Jackson Family mansion.

Meanwhile—

Mia Ginger had already arrived home.

In a fit of pique, she had done the appraisal, initially intending to give it to Koa Jackson. But after getting home and pondering it for a while, she hesitated, feeling confused. So she simply packed her bag and returned to the Ginger Family.

Aiden Jiang arrived home before her, and everyone was in the living room.

Charlotte Chester greeted her, took her bag, patted her on the shoulder, and smiled as she led her to the sofa, "Didn't you say you were going to stay a few more days? Why did you suddenly come back?"

"Brother Jackson has to work, and I'm quite bored alone." Mia Ginger forced a smile.

"Coming back is coming back, does a trip home need a reason?" Aiden Jiang glanced at Charlotte Chester, "It's past six; let the kitchen prepare dinner."

Charlotte Chester complied and left.

Aiden Jiang placed the newspaper on the coffee table and looked at Mia Ginger with a smile, "Do you remember what Dad said about hosting a birthday party last time?"

"I remember." Mia Ginger nodded.

"August is coming up, and your birthday isn't far off. Every year your sister invites some classmates over, and if you have close friends, you can invite them too. The more people, the merrier."

"Got it." Mia Ginger thought briefly and queried, "Should I think about whom to invite and finalize the number in advance?"

"How many friends do you even have, just saying..."

"Bob Ginger!" Aiden Jiang's face darkened, interrupting Bob Ginger's muttering.

"You need to choose a dance partner." Zuri Ginger placed peeled nuts in a small bowl and handed them to Bob Ginger with a smile, "Do you have any male friends who can dance? You can invite them to be your dance partner."

"Social dance?" Mia Ginger was slightly stunned and raised her eyes to ask.

"Can she even dance?" Bob Ginger snorted and said to Aiden Jiang, "Dad, you should hire a teacher to teach her properly, to avoid embarrassment when the time comes."

"Bob Ginger." Aiden Jiang looked at him and reprimanded, "Watch your language."

"Dad, better hire a teacher to teach him how to talk," Mia Ginger raised her eyes to meet Bob Ginger's glare and slowly smiled, "With his attitude, how can my friends come? It'll surely cause embarrassment, which won't look good."

"Mia Ginger, you..." Bob Ginger was so mad his nose almost twisted.

"Shut up!" Mia Ginger stared at him unyieldingly, "Didn't mom and dad teach you how to address people when you were young?"

"You!" Bob Ginger angrily pointed at her.

"Not 'you,'" Mia Ginger grabbed his finger and bent it aside, speaking indifferently, "It's 'sister.' Don't forget, I'm three years older than you."

"You, ah..."

Bob Ginger had no idea how she managed to grab it, but his knuckles hurt piercingly. His face tightened, and he let out ghostly wails.

Aiden Jiang saw his sufferings and chose not to intervene.

Zuri Ginger quickly said, "Take it easy, talk it out, don't bend his fingers—knuckles are quite fragile, bending them the wrong way hurts like hell."

"What should you call me?" Mia Ginger ignored her and only coldly stared at Bob Ginger.
