Chapter 503: Chapter 257: The Guo Gang PlaneFollowing close to the Brahminâs side, traveling within the Star Sea was really convenient, as he was exceedingly wealthy and would casually throw out Teleportation Scrolls.
Moreover, the Brahminâs Teleportation Scrolls were not set for distant locations, and the time spent shuttling through spatial rifts was very brief, not causing any discomfort.
Along the way, the Brahmin kept tossing out scrolls.
Although the planes pointed out by the Brahmin were far from Godâs Grace, the time consumed was not as long as imagined.
In less than two weeks, the Brahmin and Lu Hong finally reached what might possibly be the plane where the Tower Master had settled.
Stepping onto the ground, the Brahmin stood with his hands behind his back, his gaze sweeping the surroundings, as a group of soldiers clad in red armor drew their swords and surrounded them.
"Who are you? Why have you appeared in the Overlord Armyâs territory?" a captain approached the two, his gaze icy, looking ready to strike at any moment.
"I am the Brahmin, here in the Guogang plane to
"Baron, sir?" Before Lu Hong could finish his sentence, the captain suddenly screamed, took out a section of footage for careful comparison, and after repeated confirmations, he looked at Lu Hong with excitement and admiration, "Baron sir, what brings you here?"
"Looking for someone. Could you grant us passage?" Lu Hong smiled slightly, casting a provocative glance at the Brahmin.
"This..." Being merely a captain, the man hesitated to make a decision, then spoke, "Perhaps you could come with me to see Lord Peizeka. Heâs currently in full charge of the Guogang plane."
"Very well, please lead the way."
"Er..." The captain suddenly became somewhat bashful.
Lu Hong, puzzled, asked, "Is there something else?"
"That is... could you please give me an autograph?" At the captainâs words, the surrounding soldiers also began shouting.
"Yes, yes, autographs, autographs!"
Unable to resist the enthusiasm of his fans, Lu Hong reluctantly smiled and inscribed his name on their garments.
It took quite an effort to take care of the over two hundred soldiers stationed in the area.
The Brahmin, watching Lu Hong being admired, felt extremely chagrined. Wasnât this glory supposed to belong to him? Why had it been stolen by this young man?
Not acceptable, not acceptable. Once he brought back the five Tower Masters, he absolutely had to make a big impact and get proper publicity. He needed fans who would adore him wherever he went, clamoring for his autograph like those crazy fans!
The Overlord Army was the main force of the Liu Family, originating from the East Sheng region; as for why they appeared in the far northâs Guogang plane, though secretive, it was not Lu Hongâs mission here.
Following the captain, the two arrived at Peizekaâs residence.
After being announced, Peizeka personally came out to meet them.
"Ah, Lord Brahmin, what brings you here." Peizeka greeted him with a smile, quickly moving towards the Brahmin and offering the utmost respect.
Then turning to Lu Hong, his warmth unchanged, "Baron, Iâve long admired you!"
Having invited them into the living room, Peizeka then asked, "May I know what brings you to the Guogang plane?"
"Weâre here to find the other five Tower Masters," the Brahmin stated directly. "Do you have any word of them, Lord Peizeka?"
"Youâre looking for the Tower Masters?" Peizeka was startled, then bitterly smiled, "If the Tower Masters were hidden here, my Overlord Army would probably have been obliterated by that so-called Church of Dawn long ago."
The news of the infernal realmâs influence, passed along by Taiâe the Lion King, was no secret among the upper echelons of many forces in the Star Sea.
The very force pursuing the empireâs Tower Masters had bloodstained traces in the planes through which the Tower Masters had fled.
"So are you certain that Danni and the others are on this plane?" Peizekaâs words were reasonable, making Lu Hong doubt the Brahmin.
"Why are you asking me? If I guessed theyâre here, then theyâre definitely here." Having said that, the Brahmin turned around and left.
"Showoff," Lu Hong rolled his eyes, bid farewell to Peizeka, and then followed after the Brahmin.
Brahman ran fast, and Lu Hong put in all his effort just to keep up.
The two left the stronghold of the tyrant army and entered a decrepit small town.
Taking a deep breath, Brahman lamented, "This annoying scent of wraiths, truly a beacon in the darkness!"
Then Brahman turned to look at Lu Hong, his expression rather grave, "You must leave now."
"Why?" Lu Hong said, supporting his thigh, slightly weary.
"Because a great battle is about to begin," Brahman said, waving his hand as a teleportation portal slowly opened.
Before Lu Hong could react, he was kicked into it by Brahman.
"What do you mean by this?" Lu Hong was somewhat angry, but sadly the teleportation portal closed very quickly, leaving no chance for Lu Hong to question further.
The teleportationâs destination was exactly the Gold plane where a great battle had occurred.
"Damn it!" Lu Hong was furious, even thinking of murder, but then the next second, a tremendous booming sound came from the distant sky.
Though the explosion in the sky wasnât conspicuous under the blazing sun, it wasnât something that happened on the Gold plane, but in the direction of... Guogan?
"What in the world is happening?!" Lu Hong carefully recalled the details of their entry into Guogan together, he truly found nothing, but why had Brahman sensed something and teleported him out with utmost speed?
At that moment, the Guogan plane seemed to have been pierced through by a giant spear, the intact plane suddenly shattered into pieces, constantly showing signs of collapsing.
And the landing point of the spear attack was exactly the small town before Brahman.
"I knew it," removing the magic barrier, Brahman sighed, "You people of the Dawn Church really treat human life as worthless!"
The town was erased, and five figures slowly walked out from the dust, Red Beard being the first to ask, "Since you knew it was a trap, why did you still come?"
"A trap doesnât mean I canât visit you," Brahman shrugged and retorted.
"Forget it, donât find yourself in trouble later expecting me to rescue you," the Master of the Black Tower chuckled.
In a few seconds, thousands of Third Transition Peak warriors surrounded them from all sides, a complete net was closing in!
"Who did you just send away?" Danni remained composed and elegant.
"Your lover," Brahman smiled, "He is really concerned about you, knew I was coming to rescue you, and insisted on coming along."
"Then you shouldnât have brought him!" Danni frowned, if it was a step later, Lu Hong could have possibly been left behind by the disrupted space, and would have faced imminent death.
"Well, isnât he safely sent away now, why are you anxious with me?" Brahman rolled his eyes, then said seriously, "I now have a proposal, and I need your agreement."
"What proposal?" Vili coughed lightly, clearly still recovering from previous injuries.
"The Sea Race has caused too much damage to the empire, severely affecting the survival rights of the Human Race under the Divine Grace. Now that the Naga Queen is seriously injured, considering the continuity and prosperity of the Human Race, I propose that we eradicate the Sea Race, and start a war of extermination!"
"No way," As soon as these words came out, Danni rejected them, "Every race has the right to survive. This is the gift of the will of the Star Sea to them; we canât easily erase a race."
"I agree," chuckled the Master of the Black Tower, "They have killed thousands upon thousands of our people; extermination is not excessive."
"I abstain," the Master of the Gray Tower bowed his head and said nothing, showing heâs abstaining.
Brahmanâs proposal had just been brought out, and there was already a divergence of opinions, completely different from Konstantinâs view.
Following Brahman, the vote was now 1:1:1; Red Beardâs and Viliâs decisions were very important.
After a brief reflection, Vili cast a vote against, but Red Beard agreed with the proposal.
Now at 2:2:1, still no conclusion.
"The final vote is in Su Yuâs hands, but sadly we donât know where she is right now," Red Beard helplessly shrugged, then looked around the eager fighters of the Dawn Church, "Well, maybe we should put this aside for now, the pressing matter is how to escape."
"Donât worry, Iâm here," said Brahman confidently, "Let us continue discussing the proposal."
"Su Yu isnât even..." Red Beard hadnât finished speaking when a droplet flew out from the corner of Brahmanâs eye, expanding in midair, and coalescing into a mix of beautiful silhouette.
Red Beardâs eyes widened massively, his words faltering, "Su...Su...Su Yu?!"
