He suddenly leaned down, and the unexpected closeness made her jump. Her body instinctively leaned back.

His hand rested on the armrest of the chair, effectively trapping her within his reach, leaving her almost no room to evade.

She could only look at him cautiously and defensively.

"Say it again."

"Lu Qing."

"Very good."

He narrowed his eyes at her, and there seemed to be a flicker of light in them. Her jade-like face, flawless skin, and soft, pink lips slightly curved upward carried a mix of playfulness and sensuality.

He raised a hand, letting the pad of his finger lightly brush against her lips.

"Remember, don’t call me the wrong name again in the future."

This was a threat!

Qin Miaomiao felt a chill down her spine, yet her face flushed red. Lu Qing watched as her complexion gradually turned a shade of pink, even her pale earlobes tinted with a delicate blush.

He seemed to savor it, the cool texture of her skin, and traced his finger from her petal-like lips down to her porcelain-like slender neck.

Qin Miaomiao was incredibly tense. Even if she were foolish, she could plainly see a glint of something unmistakable in his eyes—pure desire!

After all, they were only married in name, yet if he wanted her, she likely wouldn’t even have the right to refuse.

"Just one day?"

"Qin Miaomiao, everything comes with a price. You don’t want a divorce simply because you can’t bear to give up the title of Mrs. Lu, can you?"

Qin Miaomiao’s face turned ashen when her true thoughts were exposed—he had seen right through her!

Of course, even from a logical perspective, it made sense that she couldn’t bear to part with the title of Mrs. Lu. During these three months, she needed to take care of what had to be done.
