After a brief tactical discussion, the three masked mercenaries-
Yulong hurled a smoke grenade onto the ground in front of him!
A faint sound of âpopâ was heard, and clouds of dust rose from the ground!
The purpose of this smoke grenade was to create a smoke screen that would obscure the enemyâs view, allowing for attack or retreat!
âMove!â the remaining three masked mercenaries looked at each other before retreating in the opposite direction!
âThose bandits are trying to escape!

The police and the defense force, noticing the banditsâ weakening firepower, were convinced that they were planning to flee.

Remembering their comradeâs screams just moments earlier, they concluded that it must have been the monster Yulong had mentioned that had inflicted the injuries!
This was no joke!
Except for Yulong, the tense faces of the other two men met each otherâs gaze.
At this point, Yulong was unlikely to be lying!
Which meant that the monster he had been talking about must really exist!
The two men were deeply concerned.
If they claimed that they didnât regret accepting this mission, that would be a lie!
But having reached this point, it wasnât unlike the times they where surrounded by armed forces while on duty in places like Afghanistan; each time regret filled their hearts, but they managed to pull through and survive each time!
Therefore, these seasoned soldiers continued their wary run, not allowing regret to overcome them!
However, their emotions could not affect the monsterâs attack
From a shadowy spot behind a rock ahead of the path taken by the running mercenaries, Jia Yan moved his exhausted body slowly.
After running about two thousand miles, he wanted nothing more than to rest.
But now was not the time for that!
He had personally killed half of the mercenaries who had hurt Father Jia!
Now only three were left!
Especially that man named Yulong, who must be the man with the eastern facial features running at the front of the group!
If this man did not die, it could not be considered as revenge!

Yu Long, too, freezes in dread!
They are so close to escaping from the rather incompetent Wa State Police and self-defense team!
But now, an unstoppable force has appeared!
Jia Yan emerges from behind the rocks like the final boss revealing its formidable form!
That form may not be particularly tall,
But it triggers us an equally immense shock!
Its over two-meter-long legs stretch out like thick branches in the air, utterly blocking their escape route!
Its compound eyes flash with a cold, eerie glow, causing shivers down their spine!
âRun, run, run!
Guns will be useless against it!â
Before Jia Yan even unfolds his wings, Yu Long starts yelling and running.
Heâs already along the shoreline, and without considering the icy sea water, he charges into the sea!
Heâd honestly rather swim than face the giant mosquito monster!
But how could Jia Yan let the ringleader escape so easily!
Whine!!!
The drone of the giant mosquitoâs wings suddenly drowns out the rotating sound of the helicopterâs rotors in this area!
Its speed instantly reaches the critical point!

A gust of wind sweeps past its antennas.

but is it possible that it possesses such an attribute?!
Impossible!
And thus, they defiantly fire!
Splat splat!
Jia Yan feels bullet after bullet slamming into his body slowing his advance!
Though his speed is initially hampered, his compound eyes flash with a strange light!
Knowing that time is of the essence, he has to avoid being sent flying by these bullets!
At least, not too far!
So, Jia Yan changes the angle of his wings as he flies!
His output power reaches its extreme!!!
Whine!!
The sound of his whirring wings merges into a terrifying scream, overpowering even the noise of the helicopter in the sky!
His form, under the great force of his flapping wings, is remarkably unaffected by the bullets!
He only retreats by less than ten meters before stabilizing!
The cold gaze in Jia Yanâs compound eyes grows more intense!
Whine!!!
Next, it moves straight into action!
