Chapter 30 - What Happened in the Morning

The next morning, Ye Tianchen couldn’t avoid being woken up by a round of knocking on the door, but this time, it wasn’t his sister who woke him up; it was Qi Ruxue.

“Hey, big bad guy, get up and eat, Auntie and your little sister are waiting,” Qi Ruxue said while knocking on the door.

“Not available…”

“The sun is already up your ass, get up and eat.”

“Not eating…”

“Get up, get up, get up…”

“Stop knocking!”

Early in the morning, this was the dialogue between Qi Ruxue and Ye Tianchen, one outside the door and one inside.

Truthfully, Qi Ruxue didn’t want to wake Ye Tianchen up; it was just that Luo Yan now completely believed her story, thinking that Qi Ruxue had fallen for her son and wanted them to get better acquainted.

The first order of business was calling him to eat breakfast, a wife calling her husband to eat breakfast made by her, which was supposed to be a very warm and happy thing.

As for Qi Ruxue, her face was blushing, and she kept her head down, focused only on her meal.

“Tianchen, what happened just now?

Did you bully Ruxue?” Mom Luo Yan asked, clueless about the situation.

Mom and I won’t let you off the hook,” Ye Qianwen also firmly sided with Qi Ruxue.

Throughout breakfast, Qi Ruxue’s delicate cheeks remained red.

She only glared fiercely at Ye Tianchen a few times, almost as if she wanted to castrate him.

“Hey, you saw it yourself; what does it have to do with me?” Ye Tianchen responded with an indifferent attitude.

despicable, shameless, sleazy, dirty, who comes out without clothes like you?” Qi Ruxue wished she could pounce on Ye Tianchen and bite him furiously, this guy was way too much.

“Was I not wearing clothes?

At least I had shorts on, and you saw my strong biceps, my loss was too great…” Ye Tianchen pretended to be very sad and shook his head as he spoke.

“Big bully, Missy here isn’t done with you.” Qi Ruxue gritted her cute little tiger teeth and waved her fist at Ye Tianchen.

“Evidence?

Our word is the evidence, could you please come with us.”

Ye Tianchen furrowed his brow, these two officers were clearly here to provoke, and he didn’t know which force wanted to target him.

He then smiled and said to his mom Luo Yan, “It’s okay, I’ll be right back, and don’t tell dad and little sister about this.”

“Tianchen…

this…” Luo Yan was very worried, after all, having the police come to the door, saying it was because of a murder case and needing to take her son away, would make any mother anxious.

“It’s all right, I’ll be back soon,” Ye Tianchen reassured his mom with a smile.

Watching her son Ye Tianchen being taken away by the police, Luo Yan was very nervous inside.

Qi Ruxue hadn’t expected that her casual words would actually lead to Ye Tianchen being taken away by the police, feeling somewhat guilty and comforting Luo Yan.

As Ye Tianchen walked with the two officers, he repeatedly instructed his mom Luo Yan not to let the father and sister know to avoid worrying them and to prevent the Ye family from getting involved in this affair.

Move faster, we need to get back,” one of the police officers cursed at Ye Tianchen.

“Move it, or we’ll break your legs first,” the other officer also showed no pleasant face.

Despite knowing these two officers might have been bribed to deliberately give him trouble, Ye Tianchen hadn’t expected these guys to show their thuggish nature so quickly, having not even a shred of the people’s servant or the pioneer of justice spirit.

Facing the two belligerent officers, Ye Tianchen threw two punches, hitting the guys who then clutched their stomachs, knelt on the ground, and couldn’t get up for a long time.
