He threw two punches, leaving both officers kneeling on the ground, clutching their stomachs and grimacing in pain.

With a clang, Ye Tianchen was thrown into a room, and those two thug cops, previously so respectful towards Ye Tianchen, suddenly became arrogant again.

Ye Tianchen cracked a slight smile.

He had predicted that coming to the police department would land him in this situation, yet he had still shown up.

Since he was already here, he might as well settle in and see what other tricks Li Tie had up his sleeve, and whether he would go as far as bribing thug cops to kill him outright.

Shan Xiong saw the two thug cops emerge and quickly went up to ask, “How did it go?”

Even if I had ten clones, I doubt they could handle it all,” Ye Tianchen said with a smile.

“Damn you, looking for death?

When I tell you to sign, you sign.

Stop wasting words!” The cop holding the stun baton walked up to Ye Tianchen, raising his weapon while cursing.

“And if I don’t sign?” Ye Tianchen asked, furrowing his brows.

“Looking for death, aren’t you?

I’ll show you some color.”

Already being hit by Ye Tianchen, the two thug cops were steaming mad inside, thinking once Ye Tianchen was locked up, it would be their reign.

They didn’t expect Ye Tianchen to be so tough and not give in at all.

The cop holding the baton swung it at Ye Tianchen’s head.

Dealing with uncooperative and relentless people like Ye Tianchen, they had their methods, and this wasn’t their first time doing such things.

Coercing confessions wasn’t uncommon in the police department.

“Aah!” A scream echoed as the cop aiming for Ye Tianchen’s head was sent flying, unable to get up from the floor, crying out like a stuck pig.

Ye Tianchen instantly stood up from his seat, but as soon as he did, a gun was pressed against his Sun Temple, and the remaining cop said with a brazen, cold laugh:

“I suggest you sign.

Otherwise, one shot and you’re dead.

I can claim you were attacking an officer and were killed.

I doubt anyone can trace it back.”

Swish!

An astonishing event unfolded.

Ye Tianchen activated his superpower and vanished before the thug cop pointing the gun at his forehead.

By the time the thug cop realized what had happened, Ye Tianchen was already choking him with his right arm, dragging him forcefully toward the door.

Teleportation wasn’t a particularly difficult trick among superpowers; many Superpower Users already mastered it at level four.

Ye Tianchen had delayed using it because his body could only endure so much superpower energy and required more training.

“Mercy, mercy… please, don’t kill me…” The thug cop being choked by Ye Tianchen turned pale from near asphyxiation and pleaded with a look of terror in his eyes.

“What I hate the most is having a gun pointed at me, whether during the apocalypse or now.

Anyone who dares to do so ends up dead…”

Ye Tianchen spoke coldly, his wrist choking the gun-toting thug cop’s neck as he dragged him like a corpse toward the door…
