Chapter 441 - Multiplication Table Fist Technique
Opening Chapter 441 of "Exploring Technology in a Wizard World": Richard glanced at the black-skinned stitching monster and thought to himself, "This black-skinned stitched monster... Read on for more!
Richard glanced at the black-skinned stitching monster and thought to himself, "This black-skinned stitched monster doesnât seem too bright."Just as this thought crossed his mind, with a "roar," the black-skinned stitched monster bellowed and charged over with the momentum of an army, swinging a fist as large as a sandbag down viciously.
Feeling the monsterâs imposing force, Richardâs expression became slightly grave, "So it does have some tricks up its sleeve."
The next moment, Richard shook his clothes, and a black non-Newtonian fluid rapidly flowed out from the lining of his clothes, solidifying into a large black shield; sparks of flame drifted out and landed on the surface of the shield, forming a reaction shieldâalthough he had plans to modify the shield, there hadnât been enough time to see results, so he was still using the reaction shield for the fight.
The black-skinned stitched monsterâs fist smashed down onto the reaction shield, first detonating the single ring explosions from the flames on top, then thundering against the body of the shield itself.
With the stimulation of formidable external force, the shieldâs body quickly hardened, staunchly catching the punch.
"Bang!"
A muffled sound rang out. The shield was not damaged, but the massive force of the impact was still transferred. Even aided by the power augmentation of "Wind Lord" and "Wind Force," Richard, still holding the shield, had to step back several steps in succession to dissipate the impact, while the black-skinned stitched monster only swayed slightly in place.
"What immense strength!" Waving his hand to dismiss the shield, Richard squinted at the black-skinned stitched monster and murmured to himself.
"Of course itâs immense!" yelled out the death mage hiding behind the black-skinned stitched monster, his voice shrill, "Kid, let me tell you, it hasnât even used half of its strength yet. When it goes all out, itâll surely pummel you into minced meat."
"Is that so..." Richardâs eyes twinkled thoughtfully, "If its strength is really that great, then..."
"Bang!"
The next moment, the black-skinned stitched monster charged again, throwing a fierce punch.
But Richard simply sidestepped it, then retreated several dozen meters, exiting the combat zone.
"Kid, whatâs the matter? You realize how formidable it is and want to run?" the death mage called out.
Richard didnât reply, quickly taking a briefcase out of the Space Iron Ring and opening it, he called into it, "Pandora, come out for a second, thereâs something fun."
"Huh?" With a flash of light at the mouth of the briefcase, Pandora emerged, tilting her head in confusion as she surveyed the surroundings before looking at Richard and asking, "Whatâs the fun thing?"
Richard asked, "Do you remember, back in White Stone City, I didnât let you join in the fight with me at the end, and you were very upset. You made me promise to call you the next time something similar happened."
"Is there something now?" Pandoraâs eyes widened slightly as she asked.
"There is one." Richard pointed at the black-skinned stitched monster, saying, "See that big fellow? It has a lot of strength, perfect for you to practice with."
"Really!" Pandoraâs eyes lit up, already eager to try, but then she suddenly hesitated, "Fighting is indeed nice, but... I still have to memorize the multiplication table. What if I forget the table Iâve struggled to remember during the fight? Itâs taken me so long to reach the seven times table!"
"Then letâs wrap this up quickly."
"Alright." Pandora nodded and looked towards the black-skinned stitched monster.
The black-skinned stitched monster also looked over, locking onto Pandora, and roared out, "Roar!"
Pandora scolded, "What are you yelling for?" Saying that, she marched toward the black-skinned stitched monster.
The black-skinned stitched monster charged at her, and the two figures rapidly closed in on each other.
"Thump thump thump thump!"
Twenty meters!
Fifteen meters!
Five meters!
Collision!
The next second, the black-skinned stitched monster and Pandora collided at high speed, each throwing out their fists.
"Boom!!!"
With a tremendous thud, Pandora and the black-skinned stitched monster were briefly at a standstill, the next moment one figure was sent flying back.
Richardâs eyelid twitched, somewhat surprised.
Because what flew back wasnât the black-skinned Stitched Monster he had anticipated, but Pandora.
This!
The black Stitched Monster staggered on the spot, while Pandora flew back and landed with a thump on her rear.
The Death Mage watched and burst out laughing, "Hahaha, kid, I donât know what thing you dug out from some box, maybe itâs your experimental creature, but itâs so skinny and small, itâs nothing compared to my latest experiment!
But, having said that, your creature isnât too shabby, how about you join me and we work together? As for killing so many of my experiments and that old woman Anna, we can call it even.
After all, those experiments were defective to begin with, and that old woman Anna, I had long found her disagreeable, you can easily take her place. If you join me, I can grant you eternal life and youth!"
Richard paid no mind to the Death Mageâs words, instead, he turned with a look of concern towards Pandora, and asked, "How are you, Pandora, are you hurt?"
"Iâmâ," Pandora replied with a frown, then in the next moment she stood up, patting off the dust from her clothes, her face flushed with annoyance as she tried to explain, "Iâve been reciting the Multiplication Table, itâs been so long since Iâve fought, so I wasnât ready just now. This time Iâm prepared, Iâll make sure it pays."
"Uh," Richard uttered in response.
"Really!" Pandora asserted gravely.
"I believe you," Richard soothed.
"Roar!" At that moment, the black Stitched Monster in the distance let out a mocking roar.
Pandora, furious with embarrassment, glared at the black-skinned Stitched Monster and the next second, with a "bang," she stomped fiercely on the ground, leaving a dent several centimeters deep, and her body sprang up high, jumping over ten meters like a purple meteor crashing into the black-skinned Stitched Monsterâs chest.
Under the tremendous force of the collision, the black-skinned Stitched Monster went "bang" as it hit the ground, and Pandora immediately straddled it, raining a barrage of punches onto its head.
"Bang bang bang!"
Chanting to the rhythm of her strikes,
"What are you roaring for, it was just me not being ready, got it?"
"You think youâre so tough just because youâre big, do you know the Multiplication Table?"
"You donât, do you? I do!"
"One one is one, bang!"
"One two is two, two twos are four, bang bang!"
"One three is three, two threes are six, three threes are nine, bang bang bang!"
After, Pandora recited the Multiplication Table smoothly while relentlessly pummeling the black-skinned Stitched Monster.
Initially, the black-skinned Stitched Monster tried to struggle, attempting to get up, to resist, to counterattack, but by the time Pandora recited the four times table, its struggles subsided. By the five times table, its body began to twitch. By the six times table, the black-skinned Stitched Monster was motionless.
But Pandoraâs recitation didnât stop there, she kept on hammering the black-skinned Stitched Monster, starting onto the seven times table.
"One seven is seven, bang!"
"Two sevens are fourteen, bang bang!"
"Three sevens are twenty-one, bang bang bang!"
"Four sevens are twenty-eight..."
The Death Mage hiding behind the black-skinned Stitched Monster had a horrified expression, eyed Pandora fearfully and asked Richard with a trembling voice, "What on earth is this... this monster?"
"What do you think?" Richard retorted, taking strides toward the Death Mage. The Death Mage let out a shriek, and ran back into the Stone Building.
Richard quickly followed, entering into the Stone Building.
