It's Satisfying to Mass-Produce Troops, and Even More Satisfying to Keep Mass-Producing Them!

Seeing the furious look on the Queen's face, Lola couldn't help but step forward and ask. Serea then recounted the events to them.

"Damn humans!"

Vina was the most agitated, clenching her teeth and exclaiming angrily, while, in contrast, Lola was angry but still kept her composure.

"Your Majesty, the number of enemies is too great. And judging by this, the first wave is clearly just the vanguard; there will certainly be more human soldiers coming after."

"Yes, I'm aware."

"So, Your Majesty plans to..."

"While their subsequent forces haven't arrived yet—not one of them gets to walk away!"

When Serea uttered those four words, her expression was very calm, but after hearing her, Celia and the others all looked stunned.

Not one left?

They were all shocked by this, and seeing the silence from everyone, Serea asked,

"What, is this answer really so surprising?"

At first, Lola was a bit hesitant, as the strength difference between them and the enemy was simply too large. If they were just dealing with the enemy vanguard, that would be one thing, but judging by the humans' posture, they were obviously well-prepared. Once the fighting began, human reinforcements would pour in continuously, and with their side's weakness and small numbers, there was no way they could win.

But, seeing the confident look on Serea's face, Lola gritted her teeth.

"We will follow Your Majesty's orders."

Now Serea was queen, so they ultimately chose to obey.

And Serea understood why Lola had hesitated.

"You think we're doomed to lose, don't you?"

"Although the enemy is powerful, as long as Your Majesty is here, I don't believe we are destined for defeat."

Lola replied firmly. Hearing this, Serea nodded.

"Very good. Then prepare for war. We must take back the homeland we've lost!"

Serea made up her mind.

Of course, this wasn't her only option. She could've very well escaped deeper into the jungle and continued to develop herself quietly.

But here was the problem—with her current strength, the deeper areas of the Corrupted Jungle were obviously not suitable for her, and if she didn't go deeper, she would eventually have to face a human invasion someday.

What would she do then? Keep running?

Caution was fine, but if others had already come to her doorstep to "shit on her head," and she didn't fight back, was she supposed to just keep swallowing it down forever?

But Celia had the opposite opinion.

"Have you really thought this through? If you go to war with humans, you won't just be facing a mere squad sent to clear out undead—you might end up provoking the entire Empire. What will you do then?"

"What will I do? Run, of course. If it's absolutely necessary, I can give everything up, but right now, a mere little human troop isn't enough to threaten me."

"A 'little' human troop? According to the rating for undead disasters, a zombie outbreak would warrant at least a 300-man punitive expedition. Facing that many, can you still call them 'a little human troop' so easily?"

As Celia said this, she was worried about Serea—or, perhaps, about Her Highness's well-being.

"Three hundred people? That's still manageable."

"Manageable? Your undead minions are indeed powerful, but the enemy numbers are too great. Where is your confidence coming from?"

Hearing the worry in Celia's words, Serea smiled faintly.

"You'll know soon enough!"

With that, Serea took a bone ring out from her dimensional ring.

After putting it on her finger, she walked down the altar step by step.

"Audience with the Queen!" xN

Below, more than thirty Skeleton Warriors were standing by, two-thirds of whom were special individuals from Addis's ancient tomb.

"Rise, and prepare for battle!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!" xN

The Skeleton Warriors geared up and stood at the ready.

Serea stroked the ring—she now had direct control over 28 undead units: 10 were from the bone ring bonus, 15 from her own level ups, and 3 from the elven crown bonus.

As long as Serea maintained control of 28 Skeleton Warriors, that meant a daily output of 28 Death Crystals. If some of those units were rare, the production could be even higher—perhaps double.

So, Serea sought out the previously fallen Skeleton Warriors and used Resurrect on them.

System: 5 Death Crystals consumed to revive.

"Hm? Why is it so much? I remember using Resurrect before only cost 5 points of Dark Power?"

System: Materials below level 10 require less, while those above level 10 require much more, and high-cost revived undead minions inherit their level and abilities.

After hearing the system's explanation, Serea remembered that reviving higher-level minions had gradually become more expensive as well. This fit the logic: the higher the level and potential, the greater the cost to revive a minion.

But that was fine—a little extra was no problem, since Serea now had nearly 800 Death Crystals on hand.

After reviving the minions, Serea now controlled 15 Skeleton Warriors herself, Little Black controlled 3, and with Vina also under her control, she still had 12 vacant slots for controlling undead minions.

Thus, Serea looked toward those special individuals from Addis's ancient tomb—even though their level was a bit low, as her direct minions, they could at least generate Death Crystals for her.

Resurrect!

Reviving the 6 fallen Skeleton Cavalry, along with their bone horses, consumed a total of 54 Death Crystals. Adding the 6 Skeleton Cavalry from the tomb, Serea made them all her direct subordinates.

System: Gained undead bronze elite unit (Skeleton Cavalry). Generates one Death Crystal every 16 hours.

System: ...

A total of 12 Skeleton Cavalry became Serea's direct subordinates, and all were bronze elite units. Thus, Serea's directly controlled minion slots were now completely filled.

Fortunately, the bone horses were controlled by the Skeleton Cavalry and didn't take up her own quota. Therefore...

12 direct Skeleton Cavalry + Little Black + Little White + Vina + 16 Skeleton Warriors (13 directly controlled by Serea, 3 by Little Black) = Serea's current elite force.

System: Directly controlled undead minions under the host grow faster than ordinary undead and also generate Death Crystals for the host.

"Yes, I know. From now on, this is my elite force."

Although three Skeleton Warriors were under Little Black's control and would grow more slowly, as long as they were fed experience gems, they could be caught up to her other direct subordinates.

"But since they're all direct subordinates now, they can't all just stay as ordinary units forever."

With that, Serea turned to the "Evolve Skeleton Warrior" option in 'Plague Graveyard: Destruction'.

As long as enough Death Power was invested, a Skeleton Warrior could evolve, advancing to become a special unit like a Skeleton Swordsman or Skeleton Lancer.

System: Evolve Skeleton Warriors?

"Do it."

System: Evolving, 14 Skeleton Warriors will consume a total of 140 Death Crystals.

(Since two Skeleton Warriors are still in the elf village, only 14 are evolved here.)

Evolving each one took 10 Death Crystals, which was an acceptable expense.

A mass of Death Crystals poured out, totaling 140, and they were fed into 'Plague Graveyard: Destruction'. Then, plumes of gray mist welled up from below, enshrouding the Skeleton Warriors.
