Chapter 97 of "Rebirth in Another World as the Undead Queen" begins with intriguing events: Charge ForwardEagle Eye!After activating the skill, Vina saw every detail of Betimia and Addis's hand... Don’t miss it!

Charge Forward

Eagle Eye!

After activating the skill, Vina saw every detail of Betimia and Addis's hand movements from afar.

"That mage stopped. It's a group magic!"

Betimia sidestepped to dodge the arrow. The distance was great, so she had plenty of time to react. Even Little White would have a hard time landing a hit.

"Close the distance—move!"

As Little White spoke, he drew a short dagger from his waist. Vina was a bit stunned at first but quickly followed, pulling out her own dagger as well.

Requiem of Souls was ready, and Betimia was about to use her psychic magic!

"She's making her move!"

Vina gave a timely warning, just as Little White led her away from the line, swinging his dagger down and finishing off two Skeleton Warriors.

At Vina's report, he and Vina nocked their arrows together.

Sharpshot!

Power Shot!

Two arrows sealed off every avenue for Betimia to dodge, and with no way out, she got her arm grazed.

But the force of Power Shot was so strong that, although Betimia's undead body wasn't concerned, her spellcasting was interrupted.

"Damn it, move up!"

Seeing the two archers charging to interfere, Addis ordered the skeletal cavalry forward.

There was no way archers could outrun cavalry, so Little White and Vina had to face them head on.

Clop clop clop clop!

Three skeletal light cavalry charged in. Unhurried, Little White drew his bow—what he had ready was an Armor-Piercing Arrow!

Whoosh!

He led the target perfectly, and before Vina even finished preparing, Little White's arrow was already flying.

After covering some distance, the arrow crashed squarely into a moving skeletal light cavalry.

Crack!

The Armor-Piercing Arrow's tip embedded nearly ten centimeters into the chain mail, snapping the skeletal cavalryman's cervical vertebra right there.

Their charge hadn't even ended, and the cavalry lost one of their own!

"Damn, damn, damn! I'll kill you all myself!"

Seeing his elite subordinates get picked off one by one, Addis was furious enough to take the field in person.

Raising a hand, he conjured a Bone Spear and hurled it straight at Little White. But in midair, a silver cross sword struck the flying Bone Spear.

Clang!

Celia felt a numb shock in her palm, but the Bone Spear was deflected.

Noticing Celia's presence, Addis recalled this person was a powerful holy priest and immediately raised his guard.

Death Shock!

Gray, murky fog formed and surged at Celia, but she simply raised her hand for a Holy Light.

Imbuing her blade with Holy Light, she swung it forcefully!

Buzz!

The silver sword cut a swath of golden light.

Due to the attribute advantage, the light pierced through the fog and shot towards Addis, whose pupils shrank rapidly at the sight.

Bone Barrier!

A bone wall appeared between Addis and the oncoming strike. The golden light hit the bone wall, burning a huge trench into it—but, regrettably, didn't penetrate.

That was close!

Addis hadn't expected this priest to be so powerful; among Serea's 70% victory odds, Celia alone accounted for 20%.

Close Combat!

Although the Bone Barrier blocked her attack, it also restricted Addis from casting Death Shock or Bone Spear. Using her "enemy" as cover, Celia quickly closed the gap.

"Don't think I can't handle you!"

Gray mist appeared in Addis's palm, then turned light green. To deal with Celia, he was willing to use a high-cost area spell.

Plague!

But before he could cast it, a blood-red magic circle lit up under his feet.

"Huh?"

Before Addis could react, a flood of bloody slime surged up and engulfed her body.

The moment it touched her, it began corroding her flesh.

"Arghhh!"

Now in a mortal body, Addis felt a pain she hadn't experienced in ages.

As she writhed in agony, a thick wave of death energy burst out, manifesting into substance and helping her break free from Serea's Blood Spring.

Seeing this, Serea quickly withdrew the Blood Spring—having finally siphoned blood power from Addis, she couldn't let it be eroded by the Death Curse.

But seeing that Serea withdrew Blood Spring without it being eroded, Addis was confused.

"You could actually resist my Death Curse!"

"There's nothing I can't do!"

Forcing down the discomfort inside her, Serea began running—because Addis's next attack was ready.

Bone—

The silver sword slashed down!

Addis made no attempt to dodge, launching the Death Curse at Celia.

Celia clenched her teeth as the Death Curse washed over her.

"Divine Grace!"

A golden light enveloped Celia. Though this shielded her, the closer she got to Addis, the stronger the Death Curse became. She was forced to fall back.

Looking at the black curse marks on her arm and blade, Celia used Divine Grace to dispel them after stepping back, but even with the ability to dispel, getting within five meters of Addis was impossible.

This effectively cut Celia's swordsmanship-based combat power in half.

"Do I have to use ranged skills? But Holy Light isn't very effective... Looks like I'll have to use that move."

Celia muttered, quietly preparing something.

At the same time, Serea also drew a short dagger, charging at Addis. With only limited blood power, she could only supply it to Clark, so she couldn't use Blood Manipulation or Blood Spring frequently; otherwise, even if she melted all her blood crystals, it wouldn't sustain the whole battle.

Close combat—there's no other way. And the fact that Blood Spring wasn't corroded proved one thing: Betimia hadn't lied; she really could temporarily resist the Death Curse.

So, once an assassin, Serea was no longer afraid—

Drawing her dagger, Serea lowered herself and charged at Addis. Addis, in response, sent the Death Curse surging toward Serea.

Charge in!

The Death Curse lashed Serea's body—but to Addis's shock, Serea actually broke through the black fog of the Death Curse!

"Impossible! You ignored my curse?!"

"Hmph, any other tricks? Bring them all on!"

Serea said this, a cold sweat breaking on her brow.

Only she knew—the curse was slowly eroding her body. But her body had a natural resistance, so the effect was slow, and she could hold out much longer.

Seizing Addis's momentary daze, she rushed right up to her.

Addis hadn't fully resurrected yet and was still controlling Beverly's body.

Confronted with such a delicious... cough, such a lovely little girl, Serea showed no mercy.

Dagger to the throat!

No skill, just Serea's unique technique as an assassin—though she was now technically a mage...

In such a short moment, Addis had no time to gather her magic. She could only draw Beverly's thief's dagger from her waist.

Clang!

The two blades clashed. Addis had little technique, but with the strong stats of level 32, blocking Serea's attack wasn't a problem.

"Don't underestimate me!"

"Keep going then!"

As she said this, Serea seized Addis's dagger-wielding wrist, pulled her in, and threw a powerful knee strike!

When it came to close combat, Serea truly feared no one!
