Chapter 22 - Huang Tao!

In Huang Tao’s hand was an electric baton.

He kept pressing the switch.

Above the electric baton, sparks flickered.

With a sinister smile, Huang Tao approached Zheng Qiu and pressed the electric baton directly against her.

Crisp crackling sounds!

In an instant, Zheng Qiu’s hair stood on end as she let out a scream of agony.

Wang Miao and the others by her side were so frightened they burst into loud cries.

Although he had only known Zheng Qiu, Wang Miao, and the others for one day, Zhou Yu considered them decent people.

Moreover, they were being tortured by Huang Tao because of him.

Both morally and emotionally, Zhou Yu wouldn’t let Huang Tao get away with this.

“If I were you, I’d release them immediately, then kneel down and apologize to them,” Zhou Yu said.

Huang Tao burst into laughter.

“Idiot!”

As soon as Huang Tao’s words fell, more than twenty burly men emerged from around the dance floor.

These men were all over one meter ninety in height, bare-chested, covered in tattoos, their muscles bulging, looking incredibly intimidating.

The burly men surrounded Zhou Yu, their arms crossed, and their eyes filled with mockery.

Zheng Qiu and the others had looks of despair on their faces.

In the phone call just before, she had deliberately reminded Zhou Yu to bring people, yet to her dismay, Zhou Yu had turned up alone.

Although she knew Zhou Yu was skilled in fighting, Huang Tao had come prepared, and no matter how good Zhou Yu was, it was hard to fight off multiple opponents.

This was like throwing his life away.

However, Zhou Yu didn’t seem to take these people seriously at all.

He watched Huang Tao quietly.

In such a scenario, Zhou Yu actually had the audacity to threaten Huang Tao.

Wang Miao and the others closed their eyes in despair,

It was over, completely over.

Huang Tao couldn’t laugh any harder.

“Where the hell is this clown from?

It’s just too damn funny.

Get me a drink; I want to see what he can do in ten seconds,” Huang Tao exclaimed.

A middle-aged man in a suit beside him immediately offered a glass of wine with a chuckling smile.

“Brother Tao, why waste words on such an idiot?

Just a bit more with the little stick, and he’ll be calling you daddy,” one of them said.

Huang Tao took the wine glass and downed it in one gulp.

“No rush, I haven’t relaxed in a long time.

Let’s take our time and enjoy the night,” he said.

“Time’s up,” Zhou Yu announced and strode forward.

Directly in front of him, a big man grinned.

“Kid, if you can’t shit after I punch you, consider yourself lucky,” the big man taunted as he threw a punch down at his head.

At the moment of the punch, the big man’s muscles crisscrossed with visible veins, creating a visually striking display of power.

Yet, Zhou Yu shook his head.

“Too much steroid use affects brain development,” he remarked.

Zhou Yu delivered a whip kick.

Bang!

The big man flew off like a sandbag, straight out, knocking down a swath of people nearby.

The bar lights were dim and Zhou Yu moved so quickly that most didn’t even see what happened, only hearing continuous screams.

Yet, Huang Tao’s expression changed as he bellowed:

“Motherfucker, what are you waiting for?

Attack together, take him down!”

“Take him down!”

The remaining dozen or so big men cursed and rushed forward together, quickly engulfing Zhou Yu’s figure.

Huang Tao sneered:

“Even if Tyson himself came, he couldn’t withstand the crowd.”

His words had just finished.

Bang!

The dozen or so burly men surrounding Zhou Yu blossomed outward like flowers, all sent flying simultaneously.

Not a speck of dust had settled on Zhou Yu’s clothes.

He continued to stride towards Huang Tao.

This time, everyone saw it clearly.

Of course, they were all dumbstruck as well.

Is this even human?

Such immense strength?

Even Zheng Qiu, Wang Miao, and the others gaped in awe.

They had seen Zhou Yu’s skills before, but they had not imagined him to be this formidable.

Huang Tao was struck in the face.

Blood splattered everywhere.

Huang Tao was sent flying, crashing heavily onto the nearby stage and passing out.

The group of young men and women by Huang Tao’s side changed color, shrieking as they surrounded him.

When they saw Huang Tao’s face covered in blood and gore, they were petrified with shock, white-faced and at a loss.

Zhou Yu strode over to Zheng Qiu, Wang Miao, and the others, helping them untie their bonds.

Ignoring the pain, Wang Miao looked up at him with admiration.

“Yu Ge, you…

you’re amazing!”

Chen Xingxing was even more fervent as she said:

“Yu Ge, are you a Wu Lin master?”

Zhou Yu chuckled.

“It seems you’re all right, still in the mood for jokes, huh?”

“Yu Ge, I…”

By his side, Zheng Qiu, halfway through his sentence, suddenly collapsed to the ground.

Wang Miao and Chen Xingxing were terrified.

Zhou Yu frowned and immediately helped Zheng Qiu up, checking his pulse.
