Lena Hanson took a deep breath and patiently said, "It’s all right, just be careful next time. Follow my commands, okay?"

Mia steadied herself and looked at Lena apologetically.

"How is Teacher Hanson?"

Zuri Ginger quickly stepped forward, "Mia didn’t have any foundation before, sorry about that. Did she kick your leg? Are you okay?"

Lena Hanson sat on a chair, holding her ankle.

Utterly helpless.

Feeling that if she continued teaching, her foot wouldn’t just be disabled, her leg might become lame.

Before dinnertime, she left with a forced smile.

In the evening, at the dining table.

Charlotte Chester glanced at Mia Ginger and quietly explained the situation to Aiden Jiang.

"She left?" Aiden was momentarily stunned.

"She said she couldn’t teach your daughter," Charlotte replied helplessly, "Her foot was swollen before she left, limping as she walked."

Aiden raised his eyes to look at Mia.

"I’m just too clumsy," Mia said apologetically, "I don’t have any foundation, keep making mistakes. Perhaps I should just stop learning?"

"How can you not learn?" Aiden frowned, thought for a moment, and sighed, "We’ll hire another teacher tomorrow. Whatever you learn, that’s that."

Charlotte seemed a bit depressed, muttering, "When Zuri was learning dance, the teacher praised her every day."

Zuri smiled bashfully.

"Why not let sister teach me?" Mia suddenly looked up at Aiden, "After all, she was watching the whole time when I was learning, and she’s idle anyway. She might as well teach me. This way, mom saves money on hiring a teacher—it’s not just a waste of money but also quite embarrassing."

"Me?" Zuri looked at her in surprise, then after a while, forced a smile, "That might not be appropriate? I’m not a professional teacher."

Who could put up with stepping on so many toes!

Zuri thought bitterly.

"Didn’t they say you’re good at dancing?" Mia raised her eyebrows in confusion, "Never mind if it’s a problem."

"Why not?" Charlotte immediately interjected, "She’s more than enough to teach you, so it’s settled then, saves the trouble."

"Are you okay with it, Zuri?" Aiden also glanced at Zuri.

"Well... okay," Zuri chuckled while holding the chopsticks, "I’ll teach her well."

"Thanks."

Mia smiled, took a sip of soup.

After dinner, she asked Zuri to go to the basement’s AV room.

To learn dance.

Koa Jackson had taught for a week, and she actually already knew.

But she couldn’t show it at all, keeping her lips pressed together, walking clumsily like a fool.

Zuri played the male part, so Mia placed one hand on her shoulder, while her other hand was held tightly by Zuri, stepping forward and back, turning, their eyes full of sharpness as they looked at each other.

Mia spun around, and her left foot precisely stepped on Zuri’s toe.

Zuri let out an "ah", pushing her away aggressively.

"You did that on purpose?"

"Is this the pot calling the kettle black?" Mia was suddenly pushed aside, almost falling down. She steadied herself, standing straight, and sneered, "Who’s doing it on purpose?"

"You’re bullying me too much!"

"I’m bullying you too much?" Mia raised her hand on Zuri’s shoulder, slipped a hand into her palm, stepped forward with her right foot, and whispered in her ear, "You told Marianne Jackson about my mom, didn’t you?"

"Do I look idle to you?" Zuri dug her fingers into Mia’s back, scoffing, "A lady? I’m afraid mentioning it would dirty my mouth."

Mia’s fingers tightened on Zuri’s shoulder, pulling her back a step, "In my eyes, you’re not even as good as a lady."

"Is that so?" Zuri laughed, "But in the end, I’m still much better than you, you bitch’s daughter."

"So what if I am?" Mia suddenly stepped on Zuri’s foot, glaring at her, enunciating each word, "Even if I’m a bitch’s daughter, I still have Ginger blood in me. And you? A little bastard from who knows where, scheming to seduce Bob Ginger!"

"What did you say?!" Zuri looked at her incredulously, pushing her away.

Her expression changed slightly, almost stumbling.

"I said you’re trying to seduce Bob," Mia stood her ground, full of sarcasm, her dark eyes seemingly piercing through the soul, "Isn’t that depraved enough, you?"
