Chapter 138 - What to Wear

Wu Kexin was rummaging through her suitcase with a flashlight.

She didn’t notice that Chen Yang had followed her in.

Standing behind Wu Kexin, Chen Yang watched as she moved her clothes around, occasionally disturbing some private garments, and couldn’t help but widen his eyes.

Then she turned around and walked out.

Leaving Chen Yang alone in the room.

Chen Yang stood in the room, dazed for a moment, still thinking about the stockings.

After Wu Kexin stormed out, seeing that Chen Yang hadn’t followed, she worriedly turned back.

“Are you coming or not?” Wu Kexin said angrily.

“Yeah, yeah.” Chen Yang snapped out of it and quickly walked out.

Wu Kexin slammed the door shut with a bang.

On the way back to the clinic, Chen Yang was silent the entire time, his gaze somewhat vacant as if he had something on his mind.

Seeing Chen Yang’s demeanor, Wu Kexin wondered if her reaction had been too harsh, causing Chen Yang to act this way.

Or perhaps she had wronged Chen Yang?

Had he really seen nothing?

Thinking this, Wu Kexin started to feel a bit embarrassed.

Reaching the clinic’s entrance, she grabbed Chen Yang, and apologized awkwardly, “I overreacted earlier, sorry, don’t take it to heart.”

Chen Yang still looked dazed and nodded, “Didn’t take it to heart.”
