Chapter 50 - When I was a kid

Chen Yang was right, she had come this time specifically to find those two articles of clothing.

She couldn’t wait for her niece to come back so she could maybe sooner arrange Chen Yang to be her son-in-law.

Chen Yang chuckled, then took a wild mushroom out of his pocket and handed it to Li Xiaoe.

“Sister-in-law, I actually also have something to ask you today.

Chen Yang was amused by the golden eagle’s doltish appearance and, reaching out, he patted its head and said, “Since you’ve come back, you can follow me from now on, be my little buddy.

I promise to keep you well fed and sheltered.”

Chen Yang said this just for fun.

But, unexpectedly, the golden eagle seemed to understand what Chen Yang had said.

It even chirped back at Chen Yang as if agreeing to his proposal to be his little buddy.

“Haha, it’s settled then!” Chen Yang laughed heartily, patted its head again, and then turned and walked away.

The golden eagle had food from its hunt, but he hadn’t made dinner yet.

Rushing eagerly to the kitchen, Chen Yang started to make his own meal.

Meanwhile, the golden eagle, seeing Chen Yang leaving, jumped on the spot and flew directly onto the peach tree, bowing its head to start eating the wild rabbit.
