Kaidan Game Train: Abide Rule or Die!

The first thing they hear is the announcement, smooth and crackling all at once:

“Welcome to the Dimensional Rift Game Train. Departure: Level E. Destination: Level D. Please board calmly. Survival is not guaranteed.”

The doors hiss open on a platform that smells of metal, ozone, and fear. Players step across the gap, carrying nothing but what the Game allows. No photos. No keepsakes. No contraband from the life they just left behind.

Except underwear. The rules are oddly specific about that.

On this train, the regulations are carved deeper than any timetable:

No item that isn’t part of the Game may cross the threshold.
Everyone must eat. Something. Someone. The staff work for free, and the bill is paid in flesh.
When the carriage lights go dark, they stay dark. Those who insist on seeing what moves in the aisles after midnight are either very gifted… or very eager to die.

Between Level E and Level D, the train becomes an arena. Sneak attacks in the narrow corridors. Fistfights that slam riders against fogged windows. Quiet hunters who sit still until the perfect moment to strike. The rules don’t forbid brutality. They recommend it.

Each station closer to Level D peels away another layer of pretense. By the time the brakes scream at the final stop, the players know exactly what the Dimensional Rift has taken from them—and what kind of monster the rules have coaxed out of what’s left.
