Standing in front of an old gas station, Xu Huo turned off the game screen and turned back to stare at the two people kneeling on the ground, his gaze ice-cold.

Nian Hong’an hadn’t come to his senses yet. Suddenly seeing Xu Huo’s murderous intent, he opened his mouth to shout, but Xu Huo, with quick reflexes, covered his mouth and whispered harshly, "Don’t make a sound if you don’t want to die!"

Nian Hong’an looked terrified, nodding frantically, while Wang Chaoqing beside him also instinctively covered his mouth.

Xu Huo withdrew his hand and looked around.

The gas station was situated at the end of the block; the ground bore recent tread marks, and the dust on the fuel pumps varied in age, suggesting someone had used them not long ago.

On both sides of the street were British-style shops and small buildings, all with bell-shaped objects hanging from their doors and windows. Green plants in front of the doors, the walkway, and the central railway track were all densely populated with plastic dolls of varying sizes. It looked as though a toy factory had been smashed, but in reality, these dolls evenly covered every space; one could step on at least one with every stride, only the railway tracks were relatively clean.

Wang Chaoqing carefully tried to stand up next to him when Xu Huo immediately stopped him: "Don’t move!"

Wang Chaoqing froze but showed anger on his face, "This damn place is an instance, are we supposed to just stand here and wait to die?"

Xu Huo didn’t speak; he gestured to stay silent, then looked down the street ahead.

A bus was slowly approaching; shadows moved inside, a young woman from afar was holding up a sign, "Don’t talk, don’t move, don’t step on anything on the ground, board the bus one by one."

As the bus drew near, Nian Hong’an and Wang Chaoqing scrambled to their feet, eager to get on. The young woman holding the sign and the others inside all changed their expressions drastically, but upon seeing Xu Huo standing still, they slowly sat back down.

After those two boarded, the young woman nodded at Xu Huo.

Xu Huo quickly caught up and seized the bus door to step inside the vehicle.

The young woman immediately closed the door behind him.

"Why didn’t you stop the bus?" Seeing so many living people on the bus, Wang Chaoqing felt he had escaped danger; he breathed a sigh of relief and began to complain.

"Are you blind?" the woman in sunglasses sitting in the back said listlessly. "The game said we can’t move in groups of three, do you realize you almost got us all killed just now?"

"I didn’t know!" Wang Chaoqing raised his voice slightly, which made everyone in the car frown, and the man driving pointed to the decibel meter on the car window, "Keep your voice down when you speak. The last person who came in shouting like that was left with nothing, not even scraps."

"But you don’t have to worry," the young woman holding the sign reassured Wang Chaoqing as she pushed him back into his seat. "Before you attract the Aliens, we will kill you first. Starting now, no talking allowed."

Wang Chaoqing shrank back and sat still, and Nian Hong’an also quietly found a seat to settle into.

"There are Aliens in Fenbei Town?" Xu Huo frowned briefly, then asked, "The Security Guard hired by the town is an Alien?"

The others in the car looked at him with slight surprise, and the young woman said, "You guessed it right away, yes, there’s not a single person left in the town, just a few of those Aliens."

The woman in sunglasses laughed and said, "You’re pretty sharp-witted, not like those two idiots."

Xu Huo scanned the six people in the car; the woman in sunglasses was the famous star Gu Yu, the driver and the woman with the sign were the couple he had seen before, and all three had been spotted near the haunted house. The other three, needless to mention, had most likely entered the haunted house too.

All the people in this car had been tricked into the instance by Nian and Wang, he didn’t know who to call foolish.

"Lin Pei," the man near Xu Huo stood up and shook hands with him, "Let me introduce the others, the driver is Shen Yi, and this is his sister, Shen Xin."

"The guy with the scar on his face is Ke Liang, don’t judge him by his fierce appearance, he’s actually kind-hearted."

"The one in the front seat is Wu Qiuyi, and you should recognize the one in the back, the famous domestic film star Gu Yu."

Shen Yi and Wu Qiuyi just nodded at him, Shen Xin smiled, Ke Liang gave him a glance, and Gu Yu in the back didn’t show any intention of acknowledging him.

Xu Huo looked over each one of them. Shen Yi and Shen Xin, the siblings, seemed to be in a slightly better condition, while Wu Qiuyi, Ke Liang, and Lin Pei all looked pale. Gu Yu seemed even weaker than the first three.

"How long have you been in here?" he asked with a slightly heavy expression, realizing another serious problem, "Is there no food here?"

Lin Pei gave a bitter smile, "This town has been deserted for a long time, and it’s cut off from the outside world. Even if there was food, it wouldn’t be edible, we can only drink water."

"Ke Liang, Wu Qiuyi, and I have been here for five days, and Gu Yu and the others have been here for two days."

"Have you searched every place in the town?" Xu Huo asked. "The town isn’t small, and we can’t move in groups of more than three. We wouldn’t have been able to search every room in five days."

"Did you see those dolls on the ground outside and the bells on the doors and walls? Every single one of them, whether touched or stepped on, will make a noise over 60 decibels. We’re not talking about going door to door searching; just clearing this track took us a lot of effort," explained Lin Pei.

"You must have noticed something strange about this car, too. It runs quietly, and it’s fine for people to move around inside, as long as we keep our voices down," he continued.

"But it can’t stop. As soon as it does, the alarm device inside the car will go off automatically, and the alarm sound over 60 decibels will also attract the Aliens."

After speaking, he fell silent for two seconds, "When I first arrived, there were eight people in this car. Four of them died in the jaws of the Aliens, and one died of starvation."

"There are even people who’ve starved to death! With Aliens around and no food, aren’t we all just waiting to die?" Wang Chaoqing couldn’t hold back and interjected.

Xu Huo turned to look at him, "Getting killed by Aliens is beyond our control, but no one here will starve to death. If we really can’t find food, we could use you to fill our bellies."
