"Ghost? What sort of name is that?" Austin asked, moving his gaze around. He rubbed the back of his neck, completely missing the grave weight of the assembly."Are we like, going to hide in the shadows, or scare people?" He added.
Everyone stared at him like he was a fool, the absolute silence of the prodigies highlighting the absurdity of his question. Even the stoic Hitachi blinked in mild disbelief.
"No, we aren’t scaring anyone, or hiding." Mirabella answered, her tone flat but laced with a faint, amused tolerance. She stepped away from the railing and stretched one hand towards them, opening her empty palm as if offering them the world itself:
"I plan to create my own guild." She revealed.
"Your own guild? That goes against the rule." Rose pointed out instantly, her eyes filled with surprise. As a native born into the strict hierarchy of the empires, she knew the legal boundaries of Galaxy Fall intimately.
"Goes against the rule? How?" Casey asked in genuine confusion. Coming from Earth, the laws of this magical realm were still entirely alien to her. Kent, Precious and Daniel nodded in agreement, also lost in the legal complexities.
"It’s very easy... Mirabella here is already a God general, she belongs to the Military faction. In the Dragon Empire, they are four main factions; three guilds, known as, Dragon tooth. Red claw guild, and Blaze guild... The last is the military. If students graduate from the academy, they will be given one right to make their choice. These three guilds aren’t held down by the Empire rules, and they’re independent, but the Military is different, they answer to the empire, so most students moved to the guilds. Well, it also gives more money." She explained, meticulously breaking down the socio-economic pillars of their society, and then pointed at Mirabella:
"Mirabella here is already under the military, and the rule stats that anyone in the military can’t join or create any guild. Of course, if she was a member of one of the Guilds, then creating her own guild is possible, but now..." Rose sighed softly, seeing a massive, unbreakable bureaucratic wall blocking the ambition.
"I understand your point, Rose. But the emperor will surely agree to my request." Mirabella said, crossing her arms on her chest with the absolute confidence of a sovereign. The wind caught her hair as she prepared to shatter their understanding of her origins.
"Some of you already know, some have an idea, and some are just hearing it... I will say it flatly, I am the last member of the Great Sun family."
Their eyes widened in profound shock. The Earthlings might not have fully grasped the weight, but the natives recoiled as if struck by physical force.
"Yes, that great family you read in the academy library... Not only am I the last true blood of that family, my mother created a clan in this empire."
"Sunrise clan." Hitachi muttered in absolute shock, his grip tightening on his sword. The Azul clan was legendary, but the Sunrise clan was a foundational myth of unparalleled prosperity and power.
"Correct. Back then, this clan is a lot stronger than the Azul clan... And have countless properties, lands, treasures, and mainly money. I don’t know the full picture of this clan, but they’re no more now... I will visit the Dragon Empire Royal’s Palace tomorrow, and speak with the Emperor. He will surely agree to this." She said, her eyes glinting with calculating intent.
"What if he refused to acknowledge you?" Kent asked.
"That’s impossible, Mirabella is no ordinary citizen." Aurelia said, holding her jaw. As a noble of the Dragon Empire, she perfectly understood the lethal game of imperial politics, and continued:
"She is a five stars god general, having the same military right as Lord Hayatobi. Not only that, she is also the champion of glory flag competition, and holding top one on the new generation ranking list... Not to mention the god rank artifacts under her command and powerful summons. Even a fool will agree to anything." She said, listing off Mirabella’s terrifying resume, and coughed lightly into her fist, realizing who she was speaking about:
"I am not saying the emperor is a fool, but I’m 90% sure he will agree to any requests, as long it isn’t treason."
The rest slowly nodded their heads, comforted by Aurelia’s tactical breakdown, but Kent asked again:
"But what if he refuses?"
"If that happens, I will simply ask him to return all my things back... That’s more than 100 billion gold coins. What will you pick? Give the right to build your own guild, or pay that amount?" Mirabella said, staring at him. The astronomical sum hung in the air—enough wealth to bankrupt a lesser empire or fund a continental war.
"Now that you mentioned it." Kent slowly nodded his head, completely defeated by the sheer financial extortion she held over the crown.
"Okay, about this guild, what happens next?" Hitachi asked, his eyes closed.
"Next, we will all raid dungeons, till every one of you reached Lv500, and have God rank armors each... When I am done with you, each of you will be stronger than your parents." Mirabella said with a smile, casually promising to elevate them all to the apex of mortal limits.
"Stronger than our parents?"
"Only God rank sets and armors."
"Is that possible?"
The murmurs broke out instantly, the sheer impossibility of outfitting twelve individuals in god-tier gear overwhelming their logic.
"Um... Big Sister, where can we find so many god rank sets?" Grace asked in a low, trembling voice. God rank items were national treasures, fiercely hoarded by the empires.
Mirabella snapped her fingers, and a massive, glowing holographic parchment materialized in the air. A long map appeared behind her, illuminating the dark tower with pulsing runic lines.
"This is the Sun map..." She said, gesturing to the highly detailed, magical cartography before them, and confidently pointed at a glowing, ominous red skull marking an uncharted territory.
"That is a dungeon, we will be clearing it!"
They were all completely dumbfounded, staring at the lethal marker on the projection.
’The sun map revealed this after the competition, I don’t know what triggered it, but it actually revealed one of the Sun family great dungeons. Luckily, I have the key with me.’ She thought.
"That location. It’s at the center of Galaxy Fall." Hitachi said, staring at the map, his voice betraying a hint of genuine dread.
"Center?! But we can’t enter there until we graduate and entered the second level." Carl yelled in surprise, abandoning his calm demeanor. The central zones were strictly cordoned off, heavily guarded, and filled with nightmarish entities.
"Second level?" Casey was utterly confused, her brow furrowing as she was just hearing the terrifying words for the first time.
"Don’t worry Casey, I am sure Lord Hayatobi will explain this in school." Mirabella said, and nodded her head, confirming their fears:
"I know... Which is why, we will venture there after we graduate! And that will happen in three months. For now, we will attack normal dungeons and grow our strength!! In three months, we will graduate, and move to the center region."
"Three months?" Casey, Kent and Precious were completely shocked. The Earthlings stared at each other, suddenly realizing the clock to their true survival had just started ticking.
