Jessica watched in shock, as a familiar figure shot down from the violently breached hole, landing heavily on the cave floor, sending jagged cracks all over the place. The oppressive darkness of the dungeon instantly shattered under a blinding, divine light.
"Mirabella??!" Jessica was dumbfounded, staring at Mirabella, whose blue eyes was filled with so much suffocating killing intent that she herself was left entirely speechless.
"How dare you, Nadia!!!!!"
Mirabella screamed in pure rage, her golden energy bursting out all over the place, violently smashing heavily on the cave walls and vaporizing the damp moisture in the air.
Jessica quickly moved backward from the electrified cage, seeking whatever cover she could find, as Mirabella’s chaotic energy violently smashed into it, easily denting the enchanted iron that had held her captive.
Jessica turned her bewildered gaze to the breached hole again, watching as Carl, Cupcake, and Grace fearlessly jumped inside, followed by more people, some of the elite warriors she easily recognized from her past life.
"Big Sister!"
"Stop!!" Cupcake stood right in front of the Ghost Guild members, her small body radiating immense power, ever rising into the air, forcefully forming a thick, shimmering defense shield before them to protect them from their own leader’s fallout.
BOOOOM!!!!
Mirabella’s crazed and chaotic energy violently smashed right into Cupcake’s barrier, immediately creating terrifying spiderweb cracks on its resilient surface.
Nita landed gracefully inside the chaotic cave, staring at the stunned students, who were all getting shielded by Cupcake’s desperate magic, then turned her sharp gaze to the dented cage holding the bruised girl.
"Huh?"
She blinked, processing the situation, and with a single, flawless swing of her sword, she completely shattered the impenetrable cage into useless pieces of scrap metal.
Jessica was utterly dumbfounded, stepping out of her prison, but her gaze was still fixed entirely on Mirabella, who was staring murderously at the cratered spot Nadia was smashed into.
"Hehehehe... Are you so angry? Is it because of Jessica, or someone else?" Nadia asked with a sickening, bloodstained smirk. The entity slowly raised her pale hand, and grabbed the lethal golden arrow embedded deep in her chest, and with a casual, defiant clench, she completely shattered the attack into useless motes of light.
"You can’t fight me, Mirabell--"
Before the taunt could even finish, Mirabella instantaneously appeared before her, as Sunder materialized in her hand, vibrating with catastrophic power. With one brutal, downward movement, she ruthlessly slashed down at Nadia.
"You!!"
BOOOOOOOOM!!
The whole underground cave trembled violently, the terrifying force sending everyone and absolutely everything flying like ragdolls in a hurricane.
Carl, Cupcake, and the elite Ghost Guild members forcefully fell on the trembling ground from the immense backlash of the attack. They blinked through the dust, freezing as they suddenly saw the three severed heads rolling morbidly past their feet on the stone floor.
"Are those?" Carl was utterly stunned, his stomach dropping as he recognized the lifeless, horrified faces of the three heads—his two former classmates on earth, and Ethan.
’Is this why Big Sister is so completely angry? No, that can’t be it.’ Carl thought, turning his gaze back to the blinding silhouette of Mirabella:
’Something else is definitely wrong here.’ He thought, noting a depth of personal grief in her aura that went far beyond mere justice.
"How dare you touch her, Nadia?!!!"
BAM!!!
Nadia fiercely grabbed the descending blade of Sunder with her bare, clawed hand, ignoring the searing heat, and viciously threw her other hand forward, forcefully grabbing Mirabella’s delicate throat with an iron grip:
"You want to fight! Let’s fight!!"
BOOOOM!
The two terrifying entities violently shot upward, tearing straight into the cavern ceiling, completely bursting through thousands of tons of solid rock, and shooting out from the sky like a reverse meteor. The sudden, explosive eruption from the earth completely stunned the remaining three Guardians standing on the ruined surface.
In the far distance, Hayatobi, Keegan, and the thousands of survivors who had desperately retreated to the sandy shore, watched in profound shock, staring at the two conflicting authorities illuminating the night sky—one a radiant, blinding gold, and the second a deep, abyssal red.
Behind them stood a gigantic, intricately glowing teleportation circle, which the soldiers were currently using to evacuate the wounded back to the mainland.
"Is that? Mirabella?" Hayatobi was absolutely stunned, unable to comprehend the sheer scale of the energy signature.
"What happened? Who is that?" Eve asked, her voice trembling as she pointed a shaking finger at the terrifying figure completely surrounded by the blood-red light.
"That... That’s Nadia!!" Keegan exclaimed in profound disbelief, his composure shattering as he recognized the supposed master teacher.
Everyone watched in paralyzed horror, as the two god-like lights aggressively shot forward, and violently smashed right into one another high in the atmosphere, sending a huge, devastating sonic wave of concussive energy, which violently spread all the way to the distant shore of the island.
CRACK!!
They sharply turned their panicked gazes to the massive teleportation circle, seeing physical cracks forming on the spatial surface as the energy was destabilized by the clash above.
"Defense!! Protect the teleportation circle!!" Hayatobi yelled frantically at the guild leaders, and the remaining soldiers, knowing it was their only lifeline out of this apocalypse.
’Why do I have a terrifying feeling something very bad is about to happen?’ Hayatobi thought, staring up at the golden light, which was still dangerously increasing in its blinding glow.
On the chaotic battlefield above, Nadia flew backward through the clouds, hovering maliciously in the air, as Mirabella instantaneously appeared right before her, swinging Sunder with pure, unadulterated rage that defied all her usual tactical logic.
"You bitch!!!"
Nadia screamed, a terrifying sound that tore at the soul, and violently swung her abyssal claws directly toward Mirabella’s descending attack.
BOOOOM!!
Another massive shockwave spread out from their physical clash, completely destroying the remaining charred trees for miles away, and violently creating deep, canyon-like cracks on the island’s ground.
"Spectral Gaze!!"
"Soul Protection!!!"
The two enemies yelled simultaneously, their voices echoing like thunder. The huge, terrifying gate forcefully appeared in the void behind Mirabella, while a massive, grotesque red blood demon manifested violently behind Nadia, fueled by her harvested souls.
BOOOM!!
The invisible sonic wave violently burst out from the spectral bleeding eye, moving with inescapable speed towards Nadia, and smashed heavily into her. But before her soul could even be moved from its vessel, the colossal red blood demon dropped its abyssal sword, violently slashing the empty air right between the two and forcibly cutting off the absolute soul extraction link.
Mirabella coldly narrowed her eyes; this was the first time in history her ultimate skill had completely failed to kill its designated target... But that setback didn’t stop her relentless assault.
"No matter what happens!! Today!! I will kill you!!" Mirabella roared, raising her free hand high into the dark sky, as a gigantic, burning sun violently appeared directly above her, dwarfing the entire island in its immense gravitational pull.
"You can’t kill me!!! I am a goddess!!" Nadia screamed maniacally, as countless, eerie red souls and screaming skulls rapidly appeared all around her, merging to form a gigantic, apocalyptic blood sword that reeked of the blood.
"Today!! One of us will die!!"
The two yelled in unison, putting their entire existences on the line as they violently sent their ultimate attacks forward on a collision course.
"Fuck! Run!! The whole Island will be destroyed!!" Fernando screamed in pure terror from the surface below, and immediately shot away, running with every ounce of his strength without daring to look back at the descending apocalyptic attacks, the remaining guardians following behind him.
BOOOOM!!!!!
