Chapter 355 - Shall We Take a Nap Together

Having had the experience from the morning, Li Han was more proactive when she returned to the office.

She directly sat in Chen Yang’s lap, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Though she took the initiative, she couldn’t help but blush slightly, a tinge of shyness on her face.

“Chen Yang, with Master Li’s help, the medicinal cuisine business at the restaurant will definitely boom; you can rest easy now,”

Li Han said.

Chen Yang laughed and stretched out his hand to encircle Li Han’s slender waist.

“Yeah, it will surely be effective.”

Chen Yang, like Li Han, was very confident about the advertisement they had made that day.

“You worked hard all day yesterday, and you didn’t get much sleep last night either.

If there’s nothing urgent this afternoon, why don’t you go take a nap?

Don’t wear yourself out.”

The two hugged for a while before Chen Yang suggested this.

As soon as he mentioned sleep, Li Han immediately knew Chen Yang was up to no good.

Who wants to take a nap with you!”

Li Han hit Chen Yang’s chest shyly and refused him.

But what could she do about it?

Chen Yang domineeringly picked up Li Han and carried her into the small room.

Then skillfully he began to undress her…

At first, Li Han resisted slightly, but soon let him have his way…

But her bottom line remained the same as yesterday: no further than that.

To hold an unclad Li Han was a great pleasure in itself; he could think of the rest later.

And so, Chen Yang held Li Han as they napped for the afternoon.

It wasn’t until past four in the afternoon that both of them woke up feeling refreshed.

Having woken up quite hungry, they went downstairs to have a hearty meal.

After eating and seeing it was getting late, Chen Yang prepared to leave.

He hadn’t been home all day and wondered what the situation was like there.

Li Han also thought about Chen Yang’s own matters, so she didn’t try to keep him.

“Then you should head back.

If there’s anything about the medicinal cuisine, I’ll contact you by phone anytime,”

Li Han said.

“Mm-hmm, then I’ll be off.

Thank you for your hard work with the medicinal cuisine,”

Chen Yang nodded, then without even going upstairs, he simply left through the hall.

Li Han watched Chen Yang’s retreating figure feeling a burst of sweetness in her heart until he disappeared from view; only then did she turn around and go back to the office.

Chen Yang directly drove the van back to Willow River Village.

TThere wasn’t much for Chen Yang to do in the village except to deliver crayfish in the evening and check on the growth of the wild mushrooms in the new greenhouse.

After parking the van at the entrance of his house, Chen Yang immediately went to the new greenhouse to check things out.

The wild mushrooms were growing very well and should be ready to harvest the next day.

“I’ll discuss it with Yang Caiyun tonight to see if she needs any,”

Chen Yang said to himself with a smile, then walked to the corner of the greenhouse to pick up the hose and water the wild mushrooms.

Having not been home all day, he hadn’t taken care of the greenhouse.

After watering, he closed the doors to the greenhouse and returned home.

By the time Chen Yang got home, it was already late past five, almost dark.

Having just eaten at Li Han’s hotel, Chen Yang didn’t feel like cooking and sat at home for a while.

He planned to rest a bit and later, along with Uncle Niu and Elder Xiao, go up the mountain to fetch the crayfish.

Around seven in the evening, before Elder Xiao and Uncle Niu arrived, Wu Kexin showed up.

“Where have you been all day?”

Wu Kexin started by asking where Chen Yang had been that day.

Chen Yang was somewhat caught off guard.

“In the city.

You know Li Han’s promotion plan started today, right?

I went over to give a hand.

What’s up?

Did something happen?”

Hearing Wu Kexin mention he wasn’t home all day, Chen Yang realized this probably wasn’t her first attempt to find him, and therefore, she must have something important to discuss.

“So that’s what happened, I was wondering where you’d gone.”

Once Li Han heard that Chen Yang had gone to help out, she didn’t ask anything further and got straight to her point.

“Here’s the situation, the village’s cable renovation is almost complete, and the power supply is now sufficient, so the Gu family is preparing to start the mining operation, and they want me to be in charge of receiving them tomorrow, and you’re coming with me,” Wu Kexin said.

Wu Kexin explained.

“It’s finished renovating already?

I didn’t even see them doing it?”

Chen Yang’s face was full of surprise.

Since the day he showed Gu Ming the cables near Liuh River Village, he hadn’t seen anyone doing renovations.

Chen Yang had thought that something had delayed the Gu family, but unexpectedly, the work was already completed.

Wu Kexin gave Chen Yang a look, “You’re hardly ever around, how would you know when they renovated?”

Wu Kexin spoke irritably, still apparently angry about yesterday’s events.

“Hehe, I’ve been busy trying to make money,” Chen Yang chuckled awkwardly and then agreed to Wu Kexin’s request to accompany her in receiving the Gu family tomorrow.

“Alright then, get up early tomorrow; the Gu family’s mining team will probably come very early,” Wu Kexin reminded.

“Okay, don’t worry, I absolutely won’t be late.”

Chen Yang smiled and nodded.

After that, Wu Kexin gave Chen Yang a few more instructions and then left his house.

No sooner had Wu Kexin left than Uncle Niu and Elder Xiao arrived.

They greeted Chen Yang, then grabbed their plastic baskets and were about to head up the mountain.

“Uncle Niu, Elder Xiao, let me help you out tonight, don’t overwork yourselves,” Chen Yang volunteered to help, as he was free at home anyway.

The two elders naturally appreciated the offer and even heaped praise on Chen Yang.

“We’re all from the same village, and although officially I’m the boss and you’re employees, in reality, you’re my elders, aren’t you?

I should help when it’s needed,” Chen Yang said with a cheerful laugh.

Hearing this, the elders were deeply touched.

They kept on praising Chen Yang for being sensible, humble, and promising.

All sorts of compliments were heaped upon him.

Chen Yang felt somewhat embarrassed by all the praise.

Late, Chen Yang and the two elders went up the mountain together, brought all the crayfish down, and loaded them onto the truck.

After everything was done, the elders couldn’t be of much more help, so they left.

Chen Yang, alone under the cover of night, drove the van to deliver the goods.

On his way to the county town, Chen Yang paid attention to the roadside.

He noticed many construction vehicles parked near where the road from Liuh River Village connects with the town’s highway.

“Gao Ya’s moving fast, the cables are fixed, and now they’re starting to widen the road,” Chen Yang muttered to himself, then without giving the construction much thought, he continued onto the national highway and headed towards the county town.

After delivering the crayfish, Chen Yang returned home, took a shower, and lay down in bed.

Before going to bed, Chen Yang received a message from Li Han on his phone.

Chen Yang opened it to find that most of the message consisted of images from the advertising company of the promotional ads they had produced.

At the bottom of the images, there was also a text message, “Do they look good?

If there are no issues, we’ll print them overnight and they can be distributed tomorrow.”

Chen Yang didn’t rush to reply but selectively opened one image to look at it carefully.

The image featured a photo of Master Li holding a medicinal meal, with many introductions about the meal’s health benefits alongside.

The whole picture looked quite good, and it was quite innovative.

Chen Yang, at least, was quite satisfied with it.

So he finally replied, “The advertisement looks good, it’s comprehensive and innovative.”

Li Han immediately replied to Chen Yang, “Haha, as long as it looks good, then I’ll notify the advertising company to rush the job overnight.”

“Good, go for it.”

Chen Yang felt there was no issue, so after chatting for a bit more, they both went to sleep.
