Hearing Yang Ruoxi’s brusque tone, Chen Yang and Li Han couldn’t help but exchange a smile.

Just by that tone, one could tell how frustrated Yang Ruoxi was feeling.

“What are you up to?

Chen Yang’s here today, and he wanted to see if you would come out and hang out.

Do you have time?” Li Han said with a laugh.

Chen Yang’s here?”

Yang Ruoxi was about to say she didn’t have time, but then she quickly caught on and responded with a question.

Yang Ruoxi’s dazed and cute way of talking was just too funny.

“Yeah, Chen Yang is right here in my office.

About ten to twenty minutes later, Li Han’s office door was pushed open by Yang Ruoxi.

Yang Ruoxi entered the room, immediately scanning the entire office.

Chen Yang laughed and replied, “I came over for some business, and thought I’d hang out with you while I’m at it.”

I thought you came specially to hang out with sister and me.” Yang Ruoxi pouted, sitting unhappily next to Li Han.

But Li Han quickly chimed in to defend Chen Yang, “Chen Yang’s been busy with the greenhouse lately; he doesn’t have time to come and hang out often.”

“Weren’t the wild mushrooms from the greenhouse harvested?

What else do you have to be so busy with?” Upon hearing this, Yang Ruoxi immediately questioned Chen Yang.

Chen Yang smiled as he glanced at Li Han, then replied, “The wild mushrooms were harvested, but the operation is still too small.

I want to expand a little recently, so I’ve been pretty busy.”

“I see.

Well, since you’re so busy, I won’t hold it against you for now and will forgive you temporarily,” Yang Ruoxi nodded and then spoke with proud charm.

Yang Ruoxi’s haughty demeanor was amusing.

But Chen Yang went along with it, nodding, “Then thank you very much.”

“Hmph.”

Yang Ruoxi crossed her arms, gave Chen Yang a disdainful glance, and then quickly turned to Li Han.

“Sister, you just mentioned going out to eat.

Where are we heading today?”

Seeing this, Chen Yang smiled.

He wasn’t particular about food, so since Yang Ruoxi was so keen on going, he nodded.

With Chen Yang’s agreement, Yang Ruoxi immediately felt more confident.
