Chapter 222: A Beautiful Monster
Eventually, he beat him up so damn badly that the boy turned unconscious. He had beaten all 6 of them so brutally that they might all be in a coma by the looks of it. Unable to live like a normal human anymore. He knew he would lose his mind the moment he came face to face with that wretch, so he made sure to keep himself out of the view of the cameras while coming here, ensuring that no CCTV cameras at the school could capture his arrival in this direction and that no one saw him as well.
He climbed up the walls carefully, exiting the schoolās area, standing in between a narrow, unused path between two buildings, where another set of fresh clothes was hidden. He first burned the bloodied clothes and then wore the fresh ones. This wasnāt just a simple, angry outburst of his, but rather an extremely well-thought-out plan in every possible way.

He knew this wasnāt normal, this was murderous, very much psychopathic behavior, but he didnāt care. As long as Sophia didnāt find out about it, it was all good. A part of him wished he could do the same damn thing to Sophiaās parents. However, there was no evidence to suggest they had ever committed a very severe or illegal act. Despite their flaws as parents, they were competent individuals in the corporate space. 2nd, Sophia didnāt actually want anything bad to happen to her parents.
She hated them, yes, but some part of her still wished for their love and approval. Third, he didnāt want to do that; he would rise above them right in front of their faces one day, something they would not be able to refute. But alas! Tyler would never know that his wish was never going to be fulfilled.
From the next day onward, Jake was nowhere to be seen or his underlings, as if they had vanished into thin air, and no one in particular noticed it either. Probably due to the request of his parents, they likely thought that this must be done by the same group of people who had threatened them with that evidence.
However, another interesting thing happened a few days later: a girl from his class had secretly given him a love letter. Tyler considered his appearance to be moderately handsome, but not particularly good-looking; the only thing that stood out about him was his blue eyes, which were similar to Sophiaās red eyes. So, many girls always looked at him with that sort of intent. But most of them concluded that he and Sophia were a couple, so there was no point in approaching him.
Itās not like this was the first time this had happened; he would usually throw it away and never mention anything about this to her. But suddenly a mischievous glint flashed through his eyes, āI wonder what her reaction would be? That a pretty girl in my class had proposed to me. Doesnāt she always say that, except my eyes, Iām as ugly as a pig? Well, letās see what happens.ā
Walking back to their homes side by side, Tyler said to her casually, āYou know something interesting happened today.ā
Sophia looked at him questioningly, āLike what? Falling asleep in class, and the teacher mocking you in front of everyone?ā
āYou bitch.ā, he cursed aloud. But the girl only let out a sweet laughter that melted his anger before it could even begin to surface. He grunted internally in frustration; he couldnāt even get angry with her with a sweet laugh like that. An annoyed look appeared on his face. To which Sophia laughed at him mockingly even more.
But that only made her look even more beautiful. He had become strong-willed enough to at least not react to her beautiful smile, at least outwardly, but within, it still gives him butterflies in the stomach every single time. And she only ever shows her genuine smile towards him alone, and no one else. Even if just one other person is passing by the two of them, her vibe would change entirely.
She only showed her true side to him. Since the road was pretty much empty, she continued to laugh, but then he smiled mysteriously. he brought out a small and cute-looking parchment from his pocket. It was undeniable that it was something that belonged to a girl.
Her laughter stopped seeing the parchment, āOh, whatās that?ā she asked.
He said in a chuckle, āNothing much, but a pretty girl from my class proposed to me.ā
Tyler kept looking at her, but her eyes only seemed to widen in ācuriosity?ā, he continued monitoring her every change of expression, as he described which girl in particular proposed to him. He made an effort to look proud, almost like bragging that a pretty girl had proposed to him.
Tyler chuckled, āYou say Iām as ugly as a Toad, but this toad has finally been proposed to.ā
She nodded with a comically serious expression and patted him on the back, āGood boy. Youāve grown up. Finally, this senior sister is so proud.ā
She then added with further emphasis, her tone beaming with pride, āStand proud, youāve done it.ā
Tyler placed a hand on his face, rubbing his eyelids in frustration, and started walking without saying anything. A trace of disappointment gathered in his heart, seeing her take the matter so lightly, hiding his disappointed expression, as he pocketed back the small letter. Sophiaās eyes remained locked on it.
She caught up to him and asked, āSo, what are you going to do?ā
He scoffed at her, āOh, please, you donāt think thatās the first ever proposal I received, right?ā
She seemed taken aback for a moment and asked, āNo way, then why didnāt you ever tell me?ā
He shrugged, āThen do you tell me about every boy that proposes to you or sends you a love letter?ā
āOf course not, thatās because Iām not going to accept them anyway, theyāre all the same,ā she replied with a frown.
He gave her a long look, āThe same reason. I didnāt find any of them much likable.ā
āOh, so you find this one likable? Are you going to take her on a date then?ā
He almost became enraged hearing that, āWho knows, I might.ā
She raised an eyebrow at his comment but then Tyler added with a sigh, āOf course not, besides I think most of them simply do it, not because they like me, but more so because everyone thinks Iām your boyfriend, so they do it out of jealousy, to try and you knowā¦ one up you I guess.ā
She chuckled, āYouāre not so dumb after all, I guess.ā
But deep in the red eyes of her, an inhumane, almost monstrous level of possessive greed flickered madly, gazing at the back of Tyler as the red hue in her predatory eyes grew darker, more sinister.
